Fine. Crescent came over, diagnosed the problem and recommended we get a new sink fixture. When it arrived, they came back to install it.

Positives - were flexible with date and arrival time as well as available when I wanted Negatives - very revenue focused. Pushy about getting paid. Less than 2 hours of work for $400 - had difficulty explaining what parts were needed. Took multiple phone calls and my visiting 3 plumbing supply houses (who could not understand was needed either. Figured it out on my own) - required two trips to get the work done - cost. cost of faucets installation was ok. Wanted $100 to replace a toilet flow valve (I did it myself for the parts, $9) - sloppy -- faucets not aligned correctly - Office manager - her attitude made me feel like I was being taken advantage of

Crescent was the only plumbing company who sent someone out during a very cold period where frozen pipes were very common. I called many companies and they were just too busy, but it was an emergency. While reviews of Crescent were not good, this person, a female plumber, was outstanding. I would hire her again if Crescent promised to send her. Shut off valves were installed so that I could isolate the frozen pipe issue and not have to worry about burst pipes in other pipes. She also set up my space heater in order to melt the frozen area.

I was driving along Main St. and I passed the entrance to a parking lot and there was someone who wanted to turn into it. I continued with the traffic and a man from this company swore out of his truck window to me. There was another entrance to the parking lot so I pulled in and got out of my car. He also got out of his car. I asked him if he was the person who just swore at me. He said he was. I then asked if he would speak to his mother that way and he said "She would just say it back." I asked if he owned the company, and he said no. I then told him I was going to share his behavior with his owner. He said "Do whatever you want" and he walked away. I called almost immediately and the receptionist said the owner is out of the country. I asked if she could get the message to him and she didn't seem bothered by it at all. I called a second time and emailed twice and I've had no response.

Very dishonest one! Came and tried to prolong work hour by unnecessary job. The main guy is a big talker, and wastes your time by his life story and investment strategies, and you have to pay for the time he talks! A 30 minutes work eventually took them more than 3 hours to finish. They lied about a machine's price and charged very high price for bringing it to the house. Will never ever use them again!

I have used Crescent on six different occasions. This is the second time they had re-do a repair. This re-repair was on a toilet they installed. I gave them a positive rating in the past. I can't do it this time. 1) they came a half hour early. No one heard them knock or ring the doorbell. They called & told me they knocked, waited & were outside. I asked them to wait,I'd be right down. It took a little time b/cvI was at the back of the house. They left by the time I got to the door. 2) I called the office. I a horrible conversation w/ Elizabeth. She was rude, didn't apologize & wanted me to b/c I didn't get to the door in time. 3) the plumbers came later. They were supposed to snake the drains & fix the toilet. The senior plumber refused to snake the drains b/c he had "other jobs to do". They said they couldn't totally fix the toilet & we'd have to replace it. I plan to get a second opinion. The younger plumber was polite, knowledgeable & respectful as always & did the work today.

He and his assistant were on time. They weren't able to start the actual work until the dishwasher had run through the cycle so they came back at the time we scheduled on the same day. Because the dishwasher was on, they were able to see the full extent of the problem. He replaced the garbage disposal and connecting pipes. He adjusted the connection from the dishwasher to the disposal. He cleaned up after himself when he finished.

It went fine. They fixed it and they cleaned up after themselves.

They gave it a good shot but were not able to fix it and were not familiar with a distributor for parts to replace the cartridges (which I later found online). They were very professional though and I'd use them again for plumbing work, just not for fixing older fixtures.

I called Crescent Plumbing on a Thursday to look at the furnace. They came over and determined that the furnace had multiple problems and needed to be replaced. They left us with some information about replacement furnaces and we chose a high efficiency model. There were multiple guys, 2 or 3 at a time, who came over and worked on various jobs related to the furnace. Crescent has an associate who specializes in furnaces, and he did the furnace installation. The old furnace was removed on Sunday, and the new one arrived Monday PM. They added some new vents (PVC pipes) to the outside of the house, installed the new furnace and reconnected the humidifier. The new furnace was working by late Monday.

Crescent Plumbing answered my 10:30am phone call on the 1st ring. Said they could get someone to my house by around 12pm. Joe arrived just before 1pm. Reviewed toilet drain pipe problem - cracked drain pipe. Since this was a 1 bathroom house, they gave us high priority and started working right away. Owner of the company stopped by to give Joe a hand. They opened up the ceiling directly below the toilet drain. Messy work. They cut away all of the old lead pipe back to a clean brass fitting. They installed a rubber adapter boot and new PVC pipe and flange. Reinstalled the toilet, checked for leaks, and were done in 2 hours. Amazing. I'm was very impressed with several aspects of this experience: 1) They answered my phone call after one ring, with a human being. 2) They were able to get to my house in about 2 hours. 3) They moved other calls around to fit my job in because my house is a one toilet house. 4) They finished the work in 2 hours. 5) They had everything they needed onhand (in the truck). 6) The company owner came out to help Crescent Plumbing is tops in Arlington as far as I'm concerned and will definitely get a call from me next time I need plumbing help.

I called at 2:00pm because the alarm sounded indicating the sewage ejector in my basement was in trouble. I had tried a number of other plumbers, none of whom were available or willing to take the call. These guys responded immediately - came within the hour - were friendly, professional, answered a couple of questions I had and checked and cleared the ejector (luckily, nothing more than some wet toilet paper up against the switch). They were pretty expensive, but most plumbers who offer 24 hour emergency service tend to be.

The job took approximately 90 minutes. Checked out the furnace and thermostat to ensure proper working condition. Found both to be in excellent condition. Took apart several hoses and found the problem to be condensation. Offered tips for future maintenance.

Very good experience overall, they were pleasant to deal with.

Great experience - almost immediate return phone call from Ken - technician( Joe) showed up within a couple of hours as promised - he provided an estimate that was acceptable, and work commenced - everything was completed promptly and professionally - his messes cleaned up prior to him leaving. As a bonus, Joe was friendly as well and an animal-lover which ranks him highly for us (two dogs, two cats). There was a small issue with one item that we called about when we discovered it a few days later - Joe was at our house the next day and solved the problem - no additional charges incurred. We plan to call Crescent routinely in the future. Best plumbing experience we've had in 7 years in this house.

CRESCENT PLUMBING It went good, I liked them. I think they are expensive. (I don't know if that is the going rate or not). I called them back a second time, to change a tub faucet in the bathroom. They were good, but expensive. But, I don't know what the going prices, are these days. They came right away, I liked that.

I had a leaky faucet (or so I thought). I called Crescent Plumbing b/c it was close, with good reviews, but not a huge number of reviews. I was never so happy with a plumbing service! They were able to come over quickly, took a look around, told me that the water I had was from leaking around my stone foundation. They gave me some pointers for how to deal with the leaky stone foundation. They also looked at an outside faucet that was leaking when I turned it on. Out came a couple tools, and a simple adjustment later -- no more leaking at the faucet. Oh, and a bonus was that they pointed out a few gaps in my foundation that were letting in cold air in the winter. From the pleasant conversation I had when scheduling the work, to the low cost for a same-day appointment, to the other expertise that they brought to the job, this company is awesome. I love these guys! They are my plumbing go-to people from now on.

At 5am on a Saturday I went down to the basement to feed the cat and found an 8 ft diameter puddle around the water heater and 4 pinhole leaks in the piping, that were spraying water. Called Crescent expecting to get an answering machine and got a real person on the other end - at 5am! Got a guy to my house around 8am, who fixed it. Had to replace circulator pump and the pipe going out of it. Very energetic guy who did it fast and didn't leave a mess.

Cresecent scheduled me for the day after I called. Plumbers Jim and Marshall did a great job, working on my multiple tasks in parallel, and explaining what they were doing at each step.

This started with an emergency housecall, which they were very responsive to and ended with the very big job of digging up the sewer pipe and replacing it. They were very quick in responding to us as well as in getting the necessary permits to fix the problem. Keeping us informed and updated along the way was much appreciated!

Brad from Crescent did an excellent job. At every step, he clearly explained what he was doing and why. After investigating the possibility of blocked or inadequate venting, he determined the likely cause of our intermittent, repeated toilet backups was a blocked drain. He snaked the main sewer drain to remove an obstruction.

Item three was NOT minor. When I removed the old aerator, a plastic part remained inside the faucet and defied all my attempts to remove it. Mike tried several strategies and had no better luck until he hit upon melting the plastic with a torch. After he carefully cleaned the threads inside the faucet with a wire brush, he was able to install a new aerator. It works great. I had not expected that he would succeed and he agreed that this was one of the weirdest plumbing jobs he had ever worked on.

While I went w/another company, I think Crescent would've done very good work. A friend who knows construction contracts said Crescent' contract was excellent, with several key protections for the customer included. Their responses were blazingly fast. They missed their appointment for an estimate (but most places didn't even return calls, so I didn't mind much). When I called saying I had to leave, they said they would come by later that day when I wasn't home. They saw what they needed to and left a typed contract in my door the same day. The next day, I called with a question, and the person answering the phone took a message. The response was to leave a revised contract with an explanatory cover letter in my door the same day. My only reservation with them was that I prefer two-way conversations, so this wasn't my style. (I didn't push for a conversation, so I don't know how they would've responded if I had.) Their price was the same as what I ended up paying the other company.
