+ -1 moreI called and left a message at the number listed here. Joe the owner answered. He insisted that because we did not cancel the service he was entitled to charge us. When I detailed the lack of any work done on the premises he said that I would have to talk to the supervisor who was on duty, yet he did not tell me how to do this, how tor reach him. When I said he should give us credit for the lack of work done, he said he would stand by his invoice (which was already paid). He also told me that his prices were very low in comparison to others. I let him know I was an unhappy customer and he asked me to do him a favor and find another landscaper. It was an upsetting conversation. If he had credited half of the money to the lawn cutting I would have been happy. He has lost a customer and a reference.
Description of Work: We received an invoice for Spring Clean up & Removal for 160.00 The team of landscapers had come that day with blowers and blew the dust of the side walk and flower beds around, mowed the lawn and left. There was no determinable difference between the before and after on the lawn. No rakes were used. My elderly mother is home and watches the lawn work, and gardens avidly. She had already tied up all the loose sticks from the winter storms and had already filled 4 bags of debris for the spring clean up. It was on the curb when they came. Instead of asking if the clean up should continue as scheduled, they went ahead with the machines, cutting the lawn and using the blowers. The condo association is small and conscientiously pays the bills, this bill included. When I saw what they charged I was shocked. How could they charge so much for so little work. The men were not here even 20 minutes, and hardly removed a bag of 'cleaned up' debris.
