+ -1 moreOn the positive side, they were efficient, hard working, reasonably-priced, and able to do the job when we needed it done. On the negative side, the quality was lacking. Which we only really learned when it came time to paint. We saw how many imperfections there were. Lots of indentations from their trowels. Plus many areas that needed to be sanded down. Also they left a 1.5 strip of metal mesh exposed at a corner when they could have. Should have! Tucked the mesh behind the paneling of the older wall. Plastering is messy, and they cleaned up only with a broom. No shopvac and no mop. Leaving several layers of plaster dust on our floors. Some of the carpets we were planning to replace anyway. But some of them we weren't, and now we have to. Overall, I didn't get the sense that this was work they really enjoyed or took pride in. Next time I will know to spend more to get a top-quality job.
Description of Work: Brendan & Brendan father & son. Blue boarded and plastered walls and ceilings of our living room, dining room, entryway, stairway, a small half bath, and two newly-built closets. Also re-plastered the ceiling in the kitchen, and repaired a hole in the wall of a second bathroom.
