Autowater is the first and only irrigation company owned and operated by a master plumber. Autowater is a full service irrigation company serving the greater Boston area and ready to handle all your irrigation needs. From the simple repair all the way up to a brand new system, the friendly, competent staff of Autowater is here to help. In our 18 years in business, Autowater has received strong support from the people and communities we operate in and we at Autowater feel that it is our responsibility to give back to those communities whenever possible. Whether it’s helping to provide a comforting environment to grieving children, a lush, green lawn to an injured service member or a beautiful landscape to a church with strong ties to the community, the Autowater family will always be here to step in a help. Just a few of the projects Autowater has proudly donated in the past four years are complete irrigation systems to The Children's Room, a center for grieving children in Arlington, MA and two systems to the Homes for Our Troops projects to assist severally injured service men and women.

Response from Autowater Irrigation Co Inc
We are terribly sorry that this list member has such a negative view of our company. Autowater did not perform any work at this property. We visited this property to provide an estimate for the installation of a new irrigation system and had what we thought was a good exchange with the potential client at the time. During the initial visit our estimator noticed and informed the home owner that the two sump pumps that she had in her basement were unplugged and not operating. In the days following the estimate our office staff was in communication with the home owner and it appeared that the project was going to move forward, so much so that Autowater staff applied and paid for a plumbing permit with the town the property is located in. In the following days the area experienced some heavy rainfall which caused some substantial flooding in the homeowners basement. Upon discovering the flooding the homeowner called our office and told our office staff that everything in her basement was ruined and it was our fault because our estimator tampered with her sump pumps and we needed compensate her financially. This was the last contact we had with this with this list member, no work was ever performed at this property and Autowater never charged this homeowner for any services rendered.

Went well...as planned
Description of Work: The repairman replaced two outdoor water spigots which were quite old and leaking. Fortunately, they were screwed on versus soldered on so he was able to to it relatively easily. He was punctual, straightforward, and did what was asked for the requested price. Excellent recommendation for these folks!

Description of Work: The technician diagnosed our slow leak correctly as the deterioration the tank to bowl gasket- he recommended a new toilet rather than a rebuild and I agree! They get a few Bs because the diagnosis came on the second visit- the tech had left us with a promise to return, but it took a few calls and an email to get their attention back. But I would hire them in the future- friendly and easy to work with.

Things went very well.
Description of Work: Took advantage of the special offer to have the hose attachment that was leaking and lose repaired. The special offer could not have come at a better time. The gentleman that came out was early...which was fabulous. He was very professional, interesting and knowledgable. The job was done in a matter of an hour or so. He made recommendations regarding our heating system...which is very old and not as efficient as we would like. I would recommend this company. They exceeded our expectations. Thank you.

Description of Work: This was a Big Deal offer to replace an outdoor faucet. It turned out that I needed a lot of additional plumbing upgrades in the basement of my 1930 house to bring it up to code. John explained everything before and after the work was complete and replaced both my outdoor faucets. Everything works perfectly now.

Description of Work: Came on site. Replaced old hose faucet on exterior of the house with one that was frost free and anti-siphon. Also looked at a second exterior hose faucet and determined that it needed repair, not replacement. Also did a quick inventory/review of the plumbing in the house.

Could not have gone better!
Description of Work: I had a new system installed by Auto Water in early July. I was very pleased with the design & installation work. A couple of weeks later I needed one of the sprinkler heads moved & called the office. The service crews were on vacation but Anthony was there as always to answer my call. Anthony is always professional & helpful when ever I've called Auto Water. Anthony is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of irrigation systems. Anthony offered to personally drive out to my property within an hour & move the sprinkler head for me at no charge. It was nice meeting Anthony & reviewing my system with him. It unfortunately started pouring rain just as Anthony started working. This did not phase him in the slightest & he took care of my problem. Anthony left soaked but resolved my issue with a smile. I know it is due to people like Anthony that have built Auto Water's superb reputation! Geoff the owner is LUCKY to have you Anthony! Thank You!
