Description of Work: In part this e-mail is a repetiton of earlier e-mails with Angie's list in August and September of 2013. I had responded to a "Big Deal" offer of |seal-coating my driveway for a total price of $179 for 800 square feet of driveway. I realized that the area to be covered was greater than 800 sf and I expected to pay something greater than the $179, but certainly not $400.25, which was the amount I would have paid had Angie's List not interceded on my behalf. |After Atlas Asphalt completed their work, Nate Betts asked for my check in the amount of $221.25, which I gave him. Much to my surprise, when my next credit card bill came in the mail, it recited a charge of $179 for the "Big Deal" service, producing a total charge of $400.25. I might note that a year or two before, I used a local seal-coater recommended by a neighbor. That person worked several hours for a charge of $352; thus the Atlas initial quote for $221.25 seemed like it was a good deal. (Using sprays, they had completed the work in about 45 minutes.) |For that reason, I felt somehat deceived by the Angie's List offer. I note that Angie's List subsequently credited my account for the $179, for which I am thankful. |While the work that Atlas Asphalt performed was acceptable, I remark that they had to re-schedule the visit due to an "accident" involving their truck, which showed no evidence of damage when they showed up on the re-scheduled date. They had not communicated with me on the original date, and I had difficulty reaching them by phone (answering machine said they were busy). And when they were here, they rather sternly warned me not to take any photos. |Given that there are many others who can perform seal-coating services, I will not use them again-- big deals notwithstanding. | |

Description of Work: I was very fortunate to find Nate At Atlas through Angie's Big Deal. | |Sealing my asphalt driveway and walk ways was done extremely well and I am saying that a yearlater. | |He wrote a clear estimate and price quote that impressed with his attention to detail. When I asked for a change after the quote expired he accommodated the changes and honoured the quote anyway. | |Because of delays on my part he reached out to me to make sure I got the work rescheduled and completed even though he had his crew work extra hours to get it done before it got too cold. | |This did not mean getting a rushed job. He personally came out to go over the work with me and touch up a few things that were outside the scope of the work order. | |I can't express my satisfaction well enough. I definitely contract with them again and refer Nate at Atlas to my friends for their homes. |

Description of Work: We originally contacted this provider for assistance with a small hole in our driveway. The contractor contacted us immediately and explained in detail the cost of this repair, his general rates and provided a very honest opinion regarding how to go about repairing this on our own so that we can compare costs. Very professional and helpful.

Description of Work: Coating looked fine after applied and I gave an excellent review but six months later the coating looks like little bumbs and is not a smooth coat over the whole surfaceof the driveway. Disappointing.

Description of Work: The service was to have our driveway repaved. We scheduled a time and they arrived when they said they would. We were not happy with the quality of the work. There were gaps around the perimeter of the driveway that didn't have any coating. There was a significant amount of splatter on the pavers bordering the driveway as well as our white garage door, which they didn't bother to clean up. These areas are no permanently stained. We called and were told they didn't have any water with which to clean up??? There was no follow up after that. Less than a year later, the original cracks are back AND the tar has worn away almost completely on many areas of the driveway. This was a complete waste - not only does the driveway need recoating, but our pavers and garage door are permanently stained.
