Atlas was very busy and a little challenging scheduling estimate, and I think I should have been given some idea that 750 sq feet driveway was very small area

The whole experience was FANTASTIC! The owner, Anthony, called me right after I ordered the Angies List deal. He made an appointment and was punctual. He went into great detail as to what would be done and gave me literature also. Anthony stated that his job supervisor, Jim Doherty, would call me to schedule the sealing of the driveway. Jim called me right away and left a messge. When I called him back, he scheduled the job very rapidly. Jim and his two-man crew appeared precisely when they said they would. They asked if I had any questions and I said that everything had been explained very thoroughly. They put down a special coating over the larger cracks and then sealed the whole driveway. Anthony, Jim Doherty and his crew were all very professional, efficient and did a great job!! Four of my neighbors have already expressed interest in using their services. I was very impressed by their work ethic and especially with the final product! Too bad there were no A++ blocks for me to check. I would use his service again in a heartbeat!

Used Angie list big deal coupon. They called within 24hr of purchase to set up appointment. It was nice to be called by company vs. having to track them down to use the coupon. The gentleman was very clear, organized, professional and did a really nice job explaining what the seal coat would do and, more importantly, what areas of the driveway would not be fixed by a seal coat. There was no attempt at upselling which can sometimes happen with the coupon deals. I did decide to have them powerwash but they would have been fine if I had done it myself. They called a week later to set up the appointment and it went off with out a problem. Looks good and the areas that they said would not be improved (deep cracks and raised sections) weren't- so I appreciated their honesty up front. Would use them again.

I purchased the deal through Angie's list. I like the periodic coupon postings as they get me to think about the needs of my house/property. I got in touch with Anthony we chatted and set a time for an estimate. Anthony called before he arrived, showed up, handed me some paperwork to read about the work while he checked out and measured, my driveway. I had all paperwork and a general idea of when the work would be performed before he left. Jim contacted me 2 days later to set the appointment. Jim followed up 2 days before set appointment to say weather called for rain and could he come a day early. This all worked out very well. Jim arrived with team, happy, peppy, feisty guy. They all got down to business immediately. Work completed looks good to me. I gave a B for quality because I was thinking of something more hi-tech in my mind and I really have no idea about the quality as it has not been tested yet. Overall I'm satisfied because Anthony and Jim are kind and happy guys. I will surely use Atlas Asphalt again!

They arrived promptly on time, and power washed the driveway and then seal coated it.They explained everything to us, and gave us a sheet of information so that we knew when we could walk on it and when we could drive on it and a phone # to call if we had any problems or questions. I would definitely work with them again if we need further driveway services.

A very positive experience. Jim came out shortly after we called and provided a written estimate. It was significantly lower than the other estimate we got, and this estimate included filling a larger area and sealcoating. Heavy rains were expected for the day we scheduled in advance, so they called ahead and rescheduled. They were very flexible about working around our schedule. They came over on time with very nice helpers. They explained everything to me before and after. They did more than they had estimated because they wanted it to be right. The driveway looks great!

I purchased a special deal on Angie's list for 750 square feet of driveway to be sealed. They called right away to set up a consultation appointment. My driveway is much larger than 750 square feet, but the gentleman who came gave me a good deal for the whole thing. A few days later the foreman arrived with his team. They called beforehand to let me know they were coming. Upon arrival, I appreciated that he talked to us about what the job entailed prior to starting, just to make sure we had a mutual understanding and shared expectations. i.e. Filling in cracks and applying sealant will look nice but is not the same as putting a new layer of asphalt, which is an available service (if we wanted) but is also a lot more expensive. We knew this and wanted to stick with our lower cost option, but it was nice that he made double sure we understood what we'd purchased before starting. The workers were fast, efficient, professional and respectful. They did the job very well. We'll definitely hire them again when we need to do more work down the road.

Within 24hrs of requesting an estimate Anthony came out, did a thorough inspection of my driveway and gave me a very reasonable quote on the cost of work. Anthony's crew was out at my house within 2 days and started right away. The finish result is fantastic and the crew couldn't have been more professional. Included in the price was a 1 year warranty and a complementary sealcoat within the year. i highly recommend them.

asoI had purchased a coupon through Angie's LIst in March for $189. of Asphalt driveway seal coating, but life happened and I was unable to set up a time for the men to come out until early July, almost the deadline for using the coupon. Anthony was terrific, telling me not to worry about the deadline and that he would come over when I was ready to review our property. In addition to the seal coat for our sidewalk, I wanted an estimate for replacing our concrete driveway, which is cracked in some areas, with asphalt. Anthony took measurements, then checked on prices and gave me an estimate for us to think about. I contacted him the following day with our decision to have only the seal coat done at this time. But I appreciated the time he took to estimate the cost of the driveway, something we might do in another year or two. I signed and emailed Anthony the contract we had agreed to. His foreman, Jim, contacted me about a day and time for him to do the work, advising me that we could not drive over the seal coat for two days so it could dry properly. This gave me a heads up to move the car in front of our house before the work was done, which in Arlington means getting permission from the Arlington Police Dept. to leave the car on the street during the hours of 1-7 AM. When the day we set up to do the work turned into a rainy day, Jim stopped by to tell me he would have to postpone the work until Monday. When we came home on Monday evening, the work had been done and the orange cones set up. Although the seal coat dries quickly enough that it can be walked on, the cones protected the surface first from would-be-pedestrians and then served to remind us not to drive over it for two more days. Both Anthony and Jim were very pleasant to work with, they did the job we requested and we were quite satisfied with redeeming our coupon. After the seal coat dried, I noticed some areas of the sidewalk that had settled unevenly. Anthony advised me to check with the Town of Arlington since they are responsible for fixing more complicated, and expensive, sidewalk fixes. In the meantime, the seal coat looks great, and I believe I got my money's worth. I would hire Atlas again.

Anthony responded very fast and was on time at the first appointment. We walked over our large driveway were we discussed all the issues and Anthony explained his recommendations very detailed. Anthony's foreman Jim called in the evening of the same day to schedule the appointment, because of a cancellation they could fit our job in very fast. Anthony's crew members came to the right time of the appointment they were very friendly. They worked fast, thoroughly and clean. Answered all our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

They were exceptional. The owner came out and gave me a time frame and the quote. The foreman called and scheduled the work within a week. They were very efficient. They explained everything and were very professional. They cleaned the driveway first and filled the cracks. They explained about all the materials they were using. They did a really good job.

His company does only seal coating and repairs. He was helpful and gave us the name of another vendor to do the work we needed. he was prompt, courteous and professional.

Came as expected, explained the job & returned to do it we would defiantly use them again.

We got 5 quotes for driveway expansion and repaving. Anthony from Atlas responded quickly to my first call and provided an on-site estimate that was in the average range for what we wanted done. He said all the right things; how important his reputation is to him, he wants his customers to be satisfied, etc.. We requested a second estimate for some changes and additional work. He said he would come back and change the specifications. We never heard from him again.

We are in the slow process of renovating a 100 year old antique colonial. The driveway was in rough shape, potholes, cracks, depressions. We called three different companies to get quotes. They were all similar in price, but it was the professional and friendly manner of Atlas that convinced me to use them. They were well prepared, gave us documentation of the products they use, a FAQ sheet, were easy to reach, timely, and in the end, did a great job. Highly recommend.

Jim and crew were on time and did an excellent workmanlike job.Jim was excellent at explaining the details of the job as well as listening to and answering my questions.I would most certainly hire them again and would recommend them without exception!

It was a GREAT experience from start to finish. Anthony came out to estimate the project on time. He offered additional options to the Angie's List Deal, but did not try and oversell me. The project was set in a timely manner, and as the day approached and rain was likely, they worked around it to get the job done. Jim -- who does the installation of the product with his team -- was prompt and very professional. I was happy to offer to have a sign put on my property to show the neighborhood what a great job they did!

Anthony was on top of it from the beginning: Prompt response to our phone call, friendly on the phone, and spent time explaining what needed to be done in person. On the estimate he identified the cost of the sealcoat and separated out the additional and optional cost of fixing some gaps and cracks. There was no pressure to use their company and no upsell. Overall, very happy with the experience.

On Tuesday, March 20, 2012, I purchased the Atlas Big Deal on Angie's List. I spoke with Anthony right away and we scheduled an appointment for him to come out and assess the job on April 19. Anthony arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional. He measured the driveway, which turned out to be over 800 sf, so he said there would be a slight additional charge of $46. He wrote up the contract and told me what to expect during the sealcoat process, and answered all my questions.. He said that he would be getting in touch with me to schedule a time for the work to be done. I told him I was willing to wait until June, so he agreed to schedule me then. He said that his foreman, Jim, would come out to see the job first and prepare the driveway, clean it, and seal cracks. He also left me with some literature describing the Tarconite product and some info on what to do following the application. A few days later he called to say they would be doing the work on Wednesday, June 6; however, it poured rain for several days before and put the company behind in getting their work done, so Jim did not come. Anthony said Jim would be calling to reschedule, but gave me Jim's direct number in case I needed to contact him. Since I was not going to be home the rest of that week, I offered to wait and be rescheduled the following week, but Anthony said they wanted to get my job done as soon as they could. Jim called and was extremely cheerful and reassuringt. He said I did not need to be home, and he was coming by to prep the driveway. He filled two large cracks and came back to sealcoat the driveway on Saturday, June 9, while I was away. He did a wonderful job and put a neat edging on the end of the driveway that looks very nice. I have kept my car off the driveway all week, as suggested. My driveway looks better than both my neighbors who had their driveways done a couple of months ago! Thank you, Atlas (Anthony and Jim) for making it possible for me to get my driveway done! I am very impressed!

They were very professional. Anthony came when he said he would to give me an estimate for the job. He was extremely professional. Explained the work to be done and answered all my questions. He provided a computer printed estimate that detailed the work to be done. Jim, the foreman, and his crew came on Thursday to repair some large sections that needed to be asphalted and repair the cracks. My wife was very impressed with his professionalism. He called before he came and when he arrived he throughly explained the work that his crew would be doing and said they would be back on Saturday to finish the job. On Saturday Jim and his crew called about a half an hour before they arrived to alert us they they were on their way. When they arrived they repaired a few remaining spots and put down the sealcoat. The work was excellent and the driveway looks great. I highly recommend them.
