The owner came to scope out the project and provide the estimate. Some work was required beyond the basics of the Angie's List deal and the price on this was fair and completely spelled out in advance. The crew arrived on schedule and worked quickly and professionally. A very good experience overall.

Antony Miminos responded very quickly by e-mail, with the subject line, snow plowing, that he would get a quote to me ASAP. The next day he sent a follow-up e-mail, with the subject line "Snow Plowing VS snow removal" and stated that his company does snow removal NOT snow plowing. It appears that there is a problem with the Angie's List website that has mis-categorized his company as offering snow plowing when they in fact do not.

They did a good job. They came when they said they would. He was fine. The driveway looks nice.

Anthony was remarkably responsive. When I called he had my information (from the coupon purchase) in front of him and immediately scheduled a time for an estimate. He came on a Wednesday to provide the estimate and the work was done two days later. His assistant called to schedule a time to do the work and came when promised. They recommended that we have them include Gator Patch filler, which we did (and which doubled the cost), because our driveway needed more than just sealing. The work went quickly and was done professionally. We are very happy with the results. Anthony had recommended that we pay extra to have them pressure wash the driveway in advance, but we chose to do that ourselves. It did not seem to be a problem.

When I called Anthony to come to do the job, we had to make another appointment here for him to write up the proposal and speak with me again. I asked him why he didn't do that the first time he came over, and he said he must have forgotten. The proposal was significantly higher ($429) rather than $179. I crossed out the extras and told him I only wanted the sealcoat, as the contract stated that it would fill in the cracks up to a quarter inch. We made an appointment and I told him that I wanted to be home when the job was done. I spoke to the foreman, JIM, when he called that morning to confirm the time. I arrived home before the time they were supposed to be there, and to my surprise, they were already doing the driveway. It was too late, and they were SPRAYING the sealcoat, instead of applying it by hand. I ran out to speak to Jim about it, and he said they woud be returning another time to fill in the cracks. After they left, and I examined the work, the result was that the newly painter trim around my two windows is all speckled in black sealcoat as well as the white steps of my back porch. I immediately called Anthony to tell him that this had happened. I also said I would show the foreman Jim, when he returned to add more to the cracks. Subsequently I got an estimate from my house painter, and he said $200-250 to sand and paint the areas of damage. When Jim came with the crew, Jim acknowledged that there was indeed damage, and said he would tell Anthony. He said that THIS second time, they were spreading it by hand instead of spraying it , as they had done on the first job. Before he left he asked me for $250, and I told him I would have to get my painter back and pay him first. Now Anthony is threatening to put a lien on my house if I don't pay him the balance. I told him it was unfortunate, and he needed to file an insurance claim for that extra money owed, since I need to pay my painter to re-do the two windows and the back deck. Anthony shouted at me, and lied about our initial meeting about telling me to wait til I had the house painted. I am a senior citizen trying to maintain a house on my own in these difficult economic times. I always pay my workmen on time, and have excellent credit. This whole experience has been a very stressful and upsetting to me. I thought that by joining Angie's List, I would not have this type of problem

We used an Angie's List deal for this ($179) plus $99 for Gator Patch. Atlas was very prompt in contacting us after we bought the deal, and completed the work quickly. They were careful around the sides of the driveway, creating clean edges and not getting the sealcoat product on our retaining wall, grass, street, etc. Our only concern is that one area where Gator Patch was used did not seem to seal properly, and cracks emerged in the sealcoat shortly after it dried. The majority of the driveway sealing looks good, however.

I called Atlas on a Thursday afternoon (8/16) and left a voicemail. I received a callback within the hour to schedule an appointment for a free estimate. Anthony was very accommodating to my schedule since I was leaving for vacation the next day and agreed to meet me the next morning (8/17). Anthony gave me a call when he was on my way and arrived within the timeframe he had promised. He provided me with a detailed sheet describing "Job Info" and he explained exactly what was required for our driveway. It took him about 5-10 minutes to measure the driveway and provide me with an estimate. I was impressed with his professionalism and the estimate was in line with what I was expecting, so I hired Atlas for the job on the spot. He assured me the work could be done while we were out of town and when we arrived home the following week, we were impressed with how great the driveway looked. Would definitely hire them again.

this company responded promptly. the service was completed within 1.5 week of purchase. I am very happy with outcome.

Anthony Miminos called me back the same day, and made an apt. to see the driveway.He arrived on time, measured and said his foreman would call. Jim Doherty called and we tried to coordinate a date with our neighbor so that it would be a one trip for the company. There was a little difficulty in doing that with all the schedules, but we did manage it. Work was done on August 7, 2012. There were a couple of areas we were not happy with, so I called Anthony. He notified his foreman who called me and was out to the house in about 1/2 hour. He came back that Sundayand brushed the areas we discussed.Anthony and Jim were very professional, polite, and customer oriented.

Anthony came out and inspected our driveway and described his product and the process of applying it. It was decided that we needed to have the drive power washed (years of planters/debris on the driveway surface) plus we needed to have the mildew, under the overhanging trees, treated. Each of those services was an additonal $99. each were necessary so that the sealcoating would properly adhere.The next day his crew came out and did all the work as planned. Mother Nature sent a deluge within 30 minutes of their work, so we had a couple spots where the sealcoat did not properly adhere. I called on the next business day and within minutes, the team was there again to take care of my drive.I give them an absolute A for customer service!!! My drive looks great ... I hate the idea of cleaning out the garage, because I like how clean and lovely our driveway looks! Great company, great personnel, great service ... and a nice porduct too!

All aspects of the transaction went well from the appointment for the initial estimate to the work on the driveway. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I was charged a very fair price and am extremely satisfied with the results

When the work was provided in August of last year, it looked good and I was pleased. My driveway is old and I did not expect the world and my deceased husband sealed the driveway every few years and I had it done in memory of him. Believe me if never looked like it did after a few months with this service. When I called I discovered the company had been sold. I agreed to pay the $200 to have it redone, stupid on my part and this agreement was later rescinded because I never felt, respect, caring or understanding. Good luck to anyone that hires this company and I hope you are satisfied. I'm still looking.....................

They contacted me promptly to set an appointment for the estimate. After the visit for the estimate, I was contacted by phone to arrange a date for the work. They were good about being able to work within my time frame. The workers arrived on time and had the job finished within 30 minutes. The work was neatly done.

The team at Atlas did a great job. From scheduling of the initial assessment done by Anthony, which was within less than a week of when I called them to getting the driveway reseal work done, which was a week later, it went very smoothly.My driveway was larger than the Angie's List special price offer (1000+ Sq Ft vs. 750 sq ft) so the additional sq ft was priced at their normal pricing for the balance. Jim and his crew came in the morning, swept and cleaned off the driveway and had the whole job done in very short order (1/2 hr essentially). The roped off the area and told me what I could and should not be doing on the driveway over the next 24 to 48hrs.After two days, we put the cars back in the garage and our driveway looks great. In the end, Atlas was easy to work with, communicated with me at every step leading up to the scheduling and rescheduling due to rain in the forecast and did the job professionally and very neatly.

I bought their $149 seal-coating special and then less than 24 hours later, I was contacted by Anthony to setup an appointment to ensure that the work would be done before the winter sets in and they would not be able to do the job due to the weather. I appreaciated and welcomed their proactivemess ! From the estimate to having the driveway sealcoated was less than a week.Everyone was awesome. They are punctual, professional and they do quality work. Great experience. I very much recommend Atlas.

They came to "price" out the driveway even though i bought the angie's list deal. they were trying to sell more service. we scheduled the service and they arrived on time and did the work quickly.

First visit to assess the driveway - gave estimate of what the $179 deal would cover, plus optional/recommended services (added cost). Provided me with a detailed information sheet on the steps and how the work would proceed. I agreed with the initial estimates, pending final review by the work crew. Work crew led by Jim arrived as scheduled. Jim decided the "power cleaning" and the "gator" patch for small cracks were not required for my situation after all, and he did not do them. The crew proceeded to do the rest of the job. They were very efficient, did it in less than two hours. Jim communicated very clearly about the work steps, and gave me the final bill of only what they actually did. The crew was neat and left the site clean. I am very satisfied with Atlas' work and recommend them.

This was 5 Star service from day one. It started when we took advantage of an Angie's List "Buy Now" sealcoating special from Atlas. Tony called within 45 minutes to schedule a time to come by. He called when he said he would and promptly arrived when scheduled. After getting a clear, written estimate on the spot, I was told the foreman would call that evening. The foreman, Jim, called as promised and could not have been any more accommodating. The paving was done first and the crew went above and beyond, touching-up corners and some small walkway areas. That alone was appreciated. A few days later, Atlas returned to apply gator patch to the areas that needed it and Sealcoated the entire driveway. The driveway looks awesome. The work was completed as promised and it really, really adds to the look of our yard. We're very happy we chose Atlas Asphalt. They delivered what they promised. Atlas was very busy and a little challenging scheduling estimate, and I think I should have been given some idea that 750 sq feet driveway was very small area
