Description of Work: I think they are great tile source, but I would not use again for fabrication of stone tops. Some of their installers are good, some have been bad, but either way their customer service needs improvement considering the higher costs of the stone and fabrication.

Description of Work: Purchase and installation of tile floor in vestibule.

Description of Work: We had a granite counter top and a double D under mount sink installed in our 1965 kitchen. We knew nothing about the process or cost when we began this undertaking and we went to several different places, both small local and large companies (Home Depot, National Lumber). A&B appealed to us because they are a local company and were recommended to us by friends. Because we were installing heavy stone on very old and tired cabinets we were particularly concerned that the contractor who would remove our existing counter top, make the template for the new one and do the granite installation were highly skilled and had lots of experience doing this work in kitchens like ours. A&B didn't disappoint. They were prompt in responding to phone calls and e-mails, came for all appointments when scheduled, and helped educate us about choices and price. The stone company they work with in Acton, MA, Natural Stone Design, was equally excellent. We went to see the granite slab before they came out to make the template. Their staff was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. It was Natural Stone staff that came out to remove our existing counter top, make the template and install the new one. The two men who did this work were highly skilled, polite and very focused on detail. We did end up paying a bit more than if we had done this work thru another store (the price, btw, includes the cost of the sink. We paid an additional $1000 for the required plumbing work and a new disposal) but we believe it was well worth this extra money to know we were investing in a big project (for us) executed by very professional contractors.
