The guy who runs the business is the one that came out. He gave me an estimate up front. After he installed the water heater he noticed that the gas was not venting properly. He called me to make sure that I got it fixed. He even told me that he would check it after I got it fixed to make sure everything was working ok. He was very nice.

He provided an Angie List 10% discount so I was happy about that. He was very nice and came right away. The drain still isn't draining like it should so I may have to call him to come back.

This was the first time I had used their services. It was good. They were pleasant to deal with, were responsive, accommodating and had reasonable prices. They did good work and cleaned up afterwords. I was very pleased with them.

Very pleased. We found water dripping from the ceiling of our newly renovated bathroom at 9pm on a Sat night (from the unrenovated bathroom above). Called a number of places and 2 Rivers was the first to respond. Came an hour after our call. Did a temporary fix and returned on the Monday to do a permanent fix. Very pleased with the service.

Excellent. One issue came up and even though they were very busy with burst pipes/other clients, he sent someone by immediately to correct it.

The plumbing part was great. They identified and fixed a shoddy job from a prior contractor (who telescoped a 5" into a 4"). They were prompt, skilled, and efficient. My only complaint was the way they put the wall back together upstairs, it is now cockeyed and some caulk/sealer is oozing. It is right in my entryway, so it is noticeable.

John Ellis and his son came out. They were very professional. They completed the work at the same price they gave me in the estimate over the phone. They cleaned up when they were done. This was a good job. They are good people and I have no complaints.

Came and fixed it quickly. He had said it could cost up to $350, if it was complicated, but it wasn't, so he charged me $150.

They did a great job! I would recommend them for any type of plumbing. Very clean and professional!

Fantastic. They were extremely clear about the process from the beginning. When Mr. Ellis was here to assess the job (estimates are not free but are a nominal charge) he also made a suggestion on how to fix another issue and assessed a third. He was very cordial and professional. The work was done almost immediately, sooner than I had hoped. The assistant who was here to do part of the work was also very cordial and professional. Once the Wand D were delivered, John showed up within hours to complete the gas hookup. He came back to move the machine when I realized they hadn't been placed where I wanted. No complaints from him, no equivocation. Just excellent service and attention to my requests. I hope never to have a problem where I need him in an emergency, but I am keeping his number handy.

First, my garbage disposal died and I was having a problem with a toilet. I called on Tuesday and they came out to take a look and diagnosed the problems. They did the work the following day and called me at work to let me know when they would be there. Arrived on time. They quoted $743 for the work and that is what I ended up paying. They were courteous and efficient. More problematic was that my water heater went on a Saturday. I called before noon and was called back in 5 minutes. I was initially told that they would come and take a look, but due to the long weekend (Presidents Day), I would need to wait until Tuesday to replace the heater. Was a big bummer, but I understood. Fifteen minutes later they called back and was able to get the heater. They came and installed it. My issue was resolved within 3 hours on the same day! Total cost was $1763. I highly recommend John Ellis - who is the owner - great guy and responsive.

The project was completed very quickly and professionally. One day after authorizing to proceed, 2 Rivers was on site removing old equipment. The following day, the new heater was installed and operating. The following day we noticed a small gas leak, John was on site within about 15 minutes of our call and fixed the problem quickly.

Great to have had John Ellis' 2 Rivers Contracting working this project. John is a good listener and straight forward guy. The crew was always responsive, focused and effective.
