I am constantly sharing with others the outstanding work of Abagis Associates. First, I learned how important it is to get your property surveyed professionally. I was surprised to see where the actual lot lines were - in comparison to the very general mortgage map that came with the house. Also, In comparison to other surveyors the prices were extremely fair. However, it is John Abagis's strong work ethic and dedicated customer service that really sets this company apart. My property needed quite a bit of research done, which John did with a fine tooth comb. His work is meticulous -- and regardless that the work entailed much more time and effort than anticipated due to unexpected challenges -- he stuck to his original price estimate. John Abagis has done two jobs for me. He was easy to reach, able to provide me the date availability I needed - and has been kind enough to answer numerous questions I've had since the work was completed. -- I could not recommend Abagis Associates more highly.

John was very responsive and provided details of the project. Project is now under contrat and will be completed in about one month. John has been extremely responsive and helpful.

He was top-notch. The guy was unbelievable. He was amazing and was a really good guy. He was really sincere. He was professional, polite and very thorough. I had no prior experience, but I was told that the price was just about on-point.

Went great. John was on top of it not long after I signed the contract. Probably 6 weeks total from contract to initial study to property walk-through. On the walk he explained everything and also provided me with some good advice to some questions and concerns I had. The actual survey documents he provided to me were very highly detailed and well executed. He is also very easy to work with and promptly returned any calls I had made to him.

I left a message and John called back promptly. He researched my address and gave me an estimate. He also stated that my property was out of his area but he referred me to two other companies that service my area so I could see if they could do the work cheaper. Very professional.

John was excellent, I called about 5 companies and he was very easy to talk to, explained the process and his timeline and he was the cheapest price (~$800). Some companies in my town were asking for $1100 for the exact same task. He explained that the cost involved him coming out to see the property and take notes, then pull the deed and get information on line, then a final trip to mark the property lines with markers. He was running about a month out, but actually had the work completed much quicker than expected. He was very professional and helpful. Very true to the previous reviews. I would recommend him again.

I needed a survey of our residential lot boundaries in anticipation of future construction on a recently sold adjoining lot. I chose Mr. Abagis, in part because of his Angie's list profile, and in part because of his courteous, thoughtful manner on the telephone, and his helpful suggestions. Mr. Abagis arrived punctually, and personally attended to all work we had discussed. He was courteous and efficient. He answered all my questions. His fee was reasonable. I was very pleased with Mr. Abagis' services. I would definitely use him again if the occasion should arise.

I contacted John Abagis for a property line survey for instillation of new fencing and to verify boundaries on existing fencing installed by neighbors. He was kind enough to look into my property, but unfortunately due to being backlogged and the potential complexity of the property line survey, he was not able to offer his services. He did provide me with information as to why it would be so complex, which I appreciate greatly. While I may not be able to use his services, I would still recommend him to others.

Great job, very personable, professional. Spent more than 2 hours surveying and marking out our lot, placing both permanent iron rods and reference marks as well has visible wooden stakes. Everything went perfectly. Would absolutely recommend and will use again if I ever need our property surveyed.

John was great. Performed the site survey offline, met up on site later when plot plan was ready. Highly recommend.

He responded very quickly after I called, and the work was done in the next 2 days.

We were extending our driveway and provider kindly offered to do this for 1/2 the cost of a full survey. This allowed us to use $ towards driveway permit, asphalt company and sprinkler repair which was still to come. He was professional, timely and easy to work with. In the end, weather does need to be accommodating. We arranged a convenient time to walk the staked lot line and he answered all questions. Happy customer. Thank you.

Mr. Abagis informed us he is not available to do work inside Route 128 at this time (very busy). Giving him an A rating because he answered his phone on a Sunday. (your experience may vary).

John Abagis was a very helpful surveyor. He responded in a timely manner. He scheduled us for a survey right away. But the more important factors were the "little things". He gave us numerous certified copies of our plot. Later, we needed additional work done on the survey. He gave us good advice on how to get the work done in the most cost-effective way. I highly recommend his services.

I only called once, left a message (I used the # indicated on Angie's List). Provider never called back; I didn't try again, either.

I was very impressed that John Abagis contacted me on the day that I left an inquiry, having checked my property from the Registry of Deeds Land Court before calling. He explained the survey process, provided the cost, and promptly sent me a letter of authorization. He let me know that he was booked for several weeks and gave me an approximate time frame to come to my house. He came within the stated time frame, was very professional, and took the time to answer all my questions. He marked and staked the property lines, and walked me through it when he finished. I highly recommend John Abagis & Associates and will not hesitate to pass his name on to others.

From my first call to our last email, John has been prompt and thorough. Smooth sailing throughout. And he got the job done a month sooner than promised.

Based on our reviews, we only called John and he was prompt in getting back to us about surveying our property to prepare for a new fence. It was very staightforward and painless. We agreed upon a date about three weeks out from the time we inquired, and John showed up on time to stake out the property. He walked the property with us and answered questions that we had about our property lines. We didn't call anyone else to check prices, but based on what we saw on Angie's List, what we spent seemed fair.

Apparently there was a misunderstanding in regard to the date of service. I called the company on 10/1/12 afternoon, which I assumed it was the date of service. John Abagis himself answered the call and agreed to perform the service the same afternoon. He completed the job before dark and I was very pleased with the service.

John was quick and responsive in providing a quote for the job. He was able to do the job within the time frame I needed it. He came out once to take a look at the property and take preliminary measurements. When he returned on his second visit, he thoroughly surveyed and staked out the very complicated boundaries on my property. He even went into deep, thorny, and tick-filled brush at the very back of my property to mark the boundary there (which I did not expect of him). Between both visits, he spent many hours on the property. He really earned his fee, plus some. He was very friendly and I highly recommend him!

I initially e-mailed John, who called me within 24 hours. He had done research on my property prior to calling me back, knew my address, and familiar with the area. He provided a price quote over the phone, then called back about an hour later to let me know he did more research and found another surveyed plot in my neighborhood which he was able to work from, and actually reduced the quoted price. He came out twice, and the second time staked out the plot lines. While I was not able to make it home for the second visit, my wife was and he walked her around the staked out lines and showed her the plot lines. Overall, great experience, and I would use him again in the future if needed. Very personable, fair price (done for the originally quoted price) and the work was performed promptly.
