Description of Work: Designed the conversion of an in-law apartment to a playroom and 2 bedrooms. Melissa was responsive, recommended a builder and was involved in the entire process. I would highly recommend her.

Description of Work: Melissa has provided detailed plans for renovating my kitchen, living room, dining room, bedrooms, and closets. We are also working together on updates for my 2 bathrooms. She has been very flexible with scheduling, and flooring and painting the entire condo will be done shortly. Everything she has done has taken into account my tastes and budget and have complete confidence in her and her assistant Lauren.

+ -1 moreWe were extremely satisfied with Melissa's services and feel that her ideas and guidance made a huge difference in our home. We also believe she saved us money in the end because we didn't have to redo anything like we had to do when we were picking our own paint colors and fixtures. She was also very timely for every appointment and worked around our schedules. We would recommend Melissa to anyone looking for ideas and help to make their home work for them.
Description of Work: Melissa created detailed drawings of our kitchen, dining room and living room. The drawings showed options for reorganizing furniture and structural changes such as knocking down a wall to help us decide how to improve the flow of the house. She also provided help with choosing paint colors and went shopping with us to choose funiture pieces. Melissa also helped us choose tile and carpet that would look nice with existing flooring in adjacent rooms.

+ -1 moreWorking with Melissa was a dream come true. We stumbled upon her by chance in a furniture store, and she ended up decorating my entire house! She was friendly, professional and efficient. Her choices were dead on and I'm still thrilled with her work several years later. Melissa steered us to choices that have held up well with two young children in the house and everything has been easy to maintain. She is very down to earth and is a great listener. She was able to translate our dreams and often incoherent thoughts into a lovely reality. We couldn't have done it without her. She was worth every penny, I'm just sad she is not in California any longer!
Description of Work: Redecorated entire flat after a fire occurred; paint colors, carpets, furniture, lighting, decor, etc.

+ -1 moreWe are very busy and travel a lot and Melissa is always able to accommodate our schedules and do things for us in our absence. She has a very practical approach to interior design and is able to make things function well and look beautiful at the same time. We like that she tries to find "green" solutions, too. She reused some of what we had rather than having us buy something new.
Description of Work: Melissa has provided design services for us during the past 2 years. She helped us acquire new furniture and window treatments for our living room and guest bedroom and worked with us on the layout of both spaces. She also helped select artwork and even hung some pictures for us. We are working on a lighting plan with her now.
