My Experience with Greater Boston Roofing was nothing short of amazing! My wife and I have just purchased our first home and the roof was in much need of repair. We were able to work with incredible people at GBR, Jim was there to help us get a quote and was very helpful in finding what we needed and was able to work with our budget. Lisa was extremely helpful every step of the way, she was our primary contact and was able to answer any questions we had, she also handled getting us scheduled dates for when they were able to come out, and got us connected with a company cam link which is is a site used to show pictures of the progress. When it came to the day of, we had an amazing experience with Bill, he was the lead handling the coordination of the roof demo/build, and was very helpful taking pictures of the progress every step of the way. Bill and the team were able to complete the roof in 1 day, my original expectation was about 3 days of work, but they totally blew me away with how fast and efficient they were with the roof, my neighbors were also shocked at how fast they did it and how great it looked. For the final cherry on top within 20 minutes of finishing the roof, they were all cleaned up and gone, my property was actually cleaner then when they got there, you would have never thought I just got the roof replaced that day because there was nothing to clean up after they left. 5 stars, would highly recommend to anyone needing their roof repaired/replaced.

The job went very well, there were no surprises, the communication from the site manager was frequent, and everyone was a professional.

The job was outstanding. This was 3 separate roofs Ralph and his team were early to the job site worked steady all day in 90+ degree weather and the clean up was like they were never here. Ralph kept me informed of any issue that arose. I would recommend them to everyone with out hesitation . I have a great deal of admiration for how hard this team worked Thank you!!!

it went extremely well. Ralph showed up earlier than expected and started right away with laying down coverings and warning neighbors that live close to my property and everything was done within the same day. Lisa was and still is an amazing asset as well. She still contacts me to make sure I don't have anything comments or concerns days after the work was done. Professional, friendly, courteous and amazing.

Wonderful!!! The owner, Alex, gave me a detailed description of the work I needed done. Lisa followed up with the necessary paper work. Both Lisa and Alex were a pleasure to deal with. Then the crew got here and Pete, the site manager was also very informative and explained every step the crew was going to take to get the job done. Another great experience. The crew were really nice people. All in all a wonderful experience. My roof no longer leaks!!! While he was here I asked Pete to take a look at the rest of my roof. He took pictures of all the places he saw that were problematic. I knew they were because, they had already leaked and been patched. I asked him to have Alex once again give me a quote for a new roof. Again, Alex was very accommodating and gave me a detailed description of what needed to be done. I was so impressed with the my porch roof , the great people and the great job they did, that I am having the remainder of my roof done on June 11th!!! I was referred to greater Boston roofing thru my solar company (Sun Run). As a fully time inspector and part time contractor I know how important it is to do my due my own research and talk with the the potential contractor. I spoke with Lisa Z the office manager from Greater Boston Roofing She was very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. Lisa went over of the complete process from beginning to end and the tasked to be performed. She also assisted in my color choice and warranty information. What I found most refreshing was that Lisa was my single point of contact thru the beginning stages until just prior to installation and at the completion of the project. 48 hours before the installation I had a conference call with Lisa, Alex the "Office guy" and myself. Alex confirm what Lisa and I have discussed. On the morning of the scheduled removal and installation I received a text from Selom the onsite projector manager stating they would be arrive shortly. Once he arrived we went over exactly what was to happen next and introduced me to the installtion team. Most importantly for me they maintained Covid 19 protocol at all times. Some interior was required (4 Skylights) The job was completed as promised in the same day. The yard and driveway were cleaned up and brought back to original condition or better. Preface to this review - I am a MA licensed Construction Supervisor, and I am a Project Superintendent for large commercial projects for a Boston-area general contractor, so I speak from considerable experience with roofing contractors. In mid January 2020, I signed a deal for a solar power system, contingent upon replacement of my old roof. The solar company recommended Greater Boston Roofing, a company they had frequently worked with. I agreed, and they completed the job on January 29th. The company did a fantastic job. The crew was courteous, professional, and efficient. They treated my property with care, and performed the entire job in one day; almost exactly eight hours. The comprehensive project included the following: 1. Stripping all existing roofing 2. Removing two roof-mounted bathroom exhaust vents, re-routing the associated flex duct to soffit vents (to make that space available for a solar panel), and eliminating the holes by replacing that sheet of plywood - not just little patches 3. New ice & water shield 4. New air, vapor, and water barrier 5. New drip edge 6. New pipe boots on my plumbing and furnace vents 7. New chimney flashing 8. New ridge vent 9. New architectural shingles 10. Removal of all trash; the dumpster was gone by 7:30 the next morning When the crew arrived, the foreman discussed the job with me. I made him aware of a couple of details that I expected - one that was promised to me, and one that hadn’t been previously discussed. He took care of both of them without dispute and without asking for a change order. Safety - the crew followed proper safety protocol, including: 1. Installing temporary tie-off anchors at the ridge, and clipping on with ropes, rope grabs, lanyards, and harnesses. 2. Using a motorized ladder-climbing device to hoist the materials to the roof, eliminating the potential hazard of climbing the ladder while carrying a heavy load. 3. Wearing a Tyvek-type suit and full-face respirator while working around the multiple layers of insulation in the attic to re-route the bath exhaust ducts. Clean-up: 1. A dumpster was delivered shortly before the work started, and was placed exactly where I had previously instructed GBR to place it, with wood placed under the wheels to prevent damage to my driveway. 2. The crew set up large tarps to protect the house and my landscaping, and to facilitate easy clean-up. 3. When I arrived home at the end of the day, my yard was at least as clean as when they started. 4. The dumpster was removed early the next morning. I received an e-mail saying they were done, along with a link to a series of progress photos. This crew did everything the right way. The job has been done for over two weeks now, and the roof has performed perfectly in the rain. I highly recommend Greater Boston Roofing.

Greater Boston Roofing did a fantastic job on our roof. The entire job was completed in one day and the results are beautiful. All of the details around the ridges and flashing areas were exactly as promised and we are extremely satisfied. The crew cleaned everything up at the end of the day and all that was left was a professionally completed roof!

It went great. The crew were extremely hard workers. The site supervisor Peter was friendly and very helpful. He went the extra mile and helped clean up my attic after the job was completed. These guys were awesome.

The roof looks amazing And with the great job on clean up your wouldn’t even know they just did a roofing job. I am very pleased with my new roof. Greater Boston Roofing did a very professional job. Peter Vincent , the site manager, made sure everything was done correctly especially the areas where I had leaks before in a tough dormer area. I have a lot of plant beds around my house and they were very careful not to ruin any of my plants. They made sure all debris was cleaned up. I am a perfectionist and they passed my test! They had the best price out of all quotes I received. I highly recommend them!
