DR Plumber HVAC

Dr Plumber we’re good and responsive when we lost heat during a cold snap last December 2020. If this was a non emergency,I probably would have waited for another and could have saved a couple thousand.

Received a call on Sunday 1/12/2020 from Doctor Plumber saying they could come the following day. I explained I needed a heating system cleaning. The technician on the phone said they could do that but said he needed a credit card upfront for the $230 service. They arrived were in the house for about 20min did absolutely nothing other then to say the boiler was to old for them to work on and wrote up an estimate for $13,000 for a new system. I understand their time is money but that should be communicated to the customer upfront. They should notify the customers that if the system is to old for them to work on then they will still be charged the full price $230 for 20min because if I knew that I wouldn’t of hired them and my system still isn’t clean. I think I should have to pay for their 20 min of time & inspection but not $230 for an estimate and NO SERVICES rendered. I would never call them BEWARE there is a reason why they want a credit card upfront.
