+ -1 moreDerek was always responsive to our calls starting with the very first one -- we called on a Saturday morning and he was at our house within a few hours to give us an estimate on the work we needed done. He started work on the project the following week and continued to stay in touch to make sure we were happy with the work as it progressed. He was always considerate of our space and kept the work site clean, particularly at the end of each day. The quality of work was excellent. He matched old brick on our chimney expertly with the new planters and was able to salvage fieldstone from the patio in the back yard to repair several locations on the front porch. We were extremely happy with the outcome and the speed with which Derek completed the work. We would absolutely hire him again!
Description of Work: We hired Derek to perform the following work: 1. Replace a deteriorating brick planter at one end of our front porch. 2. Add two new tiered brick planters along another edge of the porch. 3. Repair loose fieldstone on the porch floor. 4. Repair several aging locations on our brick chimney. 5. Seal all of the brick and fieldstone with a weather-proofing finish. 6. Perform some demo work on an aging stone patio in our back yard.
