I contacted the company, and got a response very quickly. Shawn met me, and went over the options. The price was very reasonable, and the cost of quartz countertops was significantly lower than the quotes from other companies that I contacted. The only reason I didn't go with this company was that I decided that I want wood, not thermofoil, cabinets, and they only offer thermofoil. I didn't pick them, but I would really recommend this company.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Shawn was great and organized all the pieces that I needed done. Jack was the person that did my cabinet refacing and remade my drawers. He was extremely hard working, very personable and did a fabulous job! The guys from Stone One that replaced my countertop were also great, very efficient and personable as well. This is a great company and I would recommend them to anyone. My kitchen is transformed and the price was very reasonable.

We had gotten two estimates for a kitchen upgrade prior to contacting Affordable. Although we were impressed with both of the other companies (who we also found through Angie's List), we felt that we should get one more estimate. I think their name 'Affordable' caught my eye during my research, then I started reading their reviews and decided to give them a call. I'm very glad I did. We bought our 1920's-built house in 2014 and knew we had to do something about the kitchen. It was probably last updated in the 1970s or prior to that. There was this old, ugly, scratched speckled black laminate on the walls and counter tops. The cabinets were structurally still in good shape and we thought it would be a waste to replace them entirely. Our original project would have cost us around $20k so we scaled it down a bit. I honestly didn't think we'd find anyone to upgrade our kitchen for less than $10k. We came out under $8k, not including appliances and a few tweaks that we added ourselves. Affordable made some recommendations and were willing to move things around a bit to give us better functionality. They also installed two new cabinets and moved two of the old ones to a better location. The new cabinets helped give us more working counter space while cooking, which was sorely lacking before. Affordable was able to provide us with new quartz counter tops at an unbelievable price through another contractor who worked with them. This contractor also installed a new sink and faucet. They also extended the counter top another nine inches out so now there is room for people to sit at the counter. Originally we wanted quartz, but were told by other contractors (and through my research) that it would be the most expensive option. It came out to be well within our budget and not a whole lot more than it would have been for the cost of laminate. We absolutely love it! We opted for thermofoil shaker-style beaded cabinet doors, which matched our cabinets perfectly. They are really durable and are a dream to clean. The cabinets were topped off with a crown which tied everything together nicely and makes the cabinets look taller. All of the people involved in obtaining our new kitchen were knowledgeable, professional, courteous, friendly, and skilled. My calls and emails were answered promptly. Our kitchen looks so much better and is much more user friendly to us now. It's like having a brand new kitchen. After reading the Angie's List reviews prior to making our decision, we were confident that we made the right choice and we are very happy with the outcome. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Affordable again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone who wants to upgrade their kitchen and do it an an affordable price.

Had my entire kitchen refaced. Sean the owner gave a no hassle quote, no pressure at all. Quote was within my budget. I even added a couple of things later leading up to the actual date of service and he didn't even charge me anything more money. The person that actually did the work was Matthew and his brother. They were very professional and Matthew had an eye for detail. He was very communicative and always asked me questions if he was unsure of exactly what I was expecting. They arrived promptly at 7am every day and worked til 7pm with hardly any breaks. They always left the area clean every day. They had my job completed way sooner than I had expected. My kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. So many compliment from friends and my social media pages. Highly recommended and way cheaper than replacing my whole kitchen with new cabinets. Wish i could attach a photo for all to see but not sure how to do that:-(

The work was done very quickly. The cabinet holding the oven needed to be taken out and replaced with a new one, which they built really well. The old oven was still sitting in the old cabinet, disconnected. The workers balked at having to take it out themselves and asked to be "tipped" to do this. This would be my only complaint. If I felt it was particularly onerous I would have gladly given them a few bucks (but this should be voluntary). All in all they did a very good job and for a good price.

Like the name says, this company is affordable but they do quality work and the finished product was terrific. Shawn the owner is very nice and enthusiastic about making old kitchens new and improved, with lots of ideas. His crew are FAST too, they were in and out of my small kitchen in three days, unbelievable! There was some miscommunication about the countertops, and they came back and fixed them, because they want their customers to love their new kitchens, and because they are professionals who take pride in what they do. The process does involve a surprising amount of dust/sawdust from sanding down the old cabinets, and glue/fumes (and of course, the inconvenience of taking everything out of your kitchen/kitchen being somewhat out of commission for a few days), but the end result is totally worth it! Their associate, Bob, the plumber also came out and helped bring my plumbing hookup up to code for a new built-in dishwasher (Affordable built the surround and new counter top for it) and he was also a very nice guy (and affordable) and obviously knew his business; the dishwasher delivery/installation people came and hooked the new dishwasher right up, no problems. Very happy with how the whole project turned out and my beautiful new kitchen!

Overall, we couldn't have been happier with the experience. The work was done in a single week. The contractor who did the refacing work was extremely considerate and had great attention to detail. He even helped us with installing the sink and the microwave even though that wasn't part of the original scope of work. He worked an extra day on Saturday to complete the work and cleanup. The kitchen cabinets look like brand new! Highly recommended.

Installation was fantastic. Scott, the installer, was wonderful. He took his work seriously as if he was working in his own kitchen. Professional and considerate all the way. The outcome was unbelievable.

They were punctual and professional. Went over a lot of things , had a good product. Due to the advanced age of our cabinets, we decided to go with new cabinets instead. The price was not that much more for new, but it was a lot more labor, and a pain. I might have gone the other way if I had known.

Paul & Derrick arrived on time and on the date they were supposed to. They were very friendly and courteous young men. They surveyed all they would need and started the renovation that day. These guys we're TERRIFIC! They asked my wife and showed her the different options along the way and really worked hard at working with our very out of sqaure walls and ceiling. They took great pride in the work and really made my wife and I feel as though our satisfaction and beig happy with the work was the number one priority. They are great kids who work hard and will always do a great job! I would highly recommend these guys and Affordable Cabinet Refacing for anyone looking for a great product that saves you a lot of money!!

Showed up on time for all appointments. Colored matched our white cabinets, which was a concern for me, and made it look like we put in a new kitchen. They work with StoneOne of Methuen for the counter tops and sinks and this is another all A's company. The whole experience was quick and easy, pricing was much lower that any competitor (a big factor) and result was much better than I had imagined.

We haven't signed with them yet as we are closing out a number of other home renovation projects. I will be using them in the next year.

From start to finish, Affordable Cabinet Refacing was great. We were told by Sean, the owner, that the installer who would doing our kitchen was Matthew. Matthew's professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail impressed us. He and his brother worked 3 very long days, taking no break for lunch, and left our kitchen looking magnificent. We could not be happier with their work. Our kitchen cabinets look better than we even hoped they would. We did have a minor problem a week or so later with one of the drawers, it was not closing properly. I emailed Sean and we had someone here to repair the drawer the next day. We were impressed with their prompt response to our problem.

Affordable Cabinet Refacing deserves an A+. This was the third time my husband and I hired ACR because we know the quality of their work. Several years ago they refaced our cabinets in our old home. It came out beautiful and when we sold the house, that was the biggest selling point--everyone at the open house loved the kitchen (got the offer that day!). Then we had ACR reface our cabinets in our vacation condo in Mount Washington Valley. They did the kitchen and the bathroom...it came out really nice; we were very pleased with the results. Finally, we hired ACR to reface the kitchen cabinets in our new home. This time I changed my mind on my cabinet and countertop selections twice and Shawn was patient with me until I was sure I had ordered what would be best in our kitchen. It came out beautiful., again we were quite pleased with the craftsmanship and quality of the work. I love my roll out shelves and soft close drawers. All three times Shawn reviewed our options thoroughly and when he wrote up the contract he reviewed it word for word with us so there would be no confusion or errors. We had different people do the work each time but all three were on time, professional, hard working and did quality work, until the job was done. If you are on the fence about hiring ACR, do not hesitate...you won't be disappointed!
