It went very good. The staff is very good and they know what they were doing.

We had a nice experience. They were the lowest priced of 3 quotes and did a quality job. The whole thing took about 5 days, which was longer than we all expected, but the end result was great. We were really pleased with the way our kitchen turned out.

They came when I called and made an appointment, came on time, the guy was very nice. He called me and asked and I told him that I was waiting another estimate before I make a decision.

Do allow a week for a refacing, sometimes they take 3 days, sometimes 5 days. Do feel free to shop around. I went to Facelifters and they're now part of Home Depot - twice the price. I also checked with Lowe's and another local provider, also nearly twice the price.

We had the team from Affordable Cabinet Refacing in to reface our Kitchen cabinetry in late August. They also constructed a pantry for us and refaced our (long) vanity in a bathroom. They did a great job! We were very happy with their responsiveness and work product. Shawn is very easy to work with and provides a quote without pressure (unlike other companies). We had 3 companies out to bid for the work and Affordable Cabinet Refacing was by far the best deal. Even though we went with the cheapest quote we feel like the quality is completely there to support it. I wish I remembered the name of the main guy who did the installation- he did a great job and explained the whole process. The only negative remark I have is that they underestimated the amount of time it would take to complete the project. We were told they would be done by Saturday later afternoon. They stayed until 8:00 on Saturday and had to come back on Sunday for another full day. We chose to upgrade to smooth close on all of the doors and drawers which increased our expenditure. We also added additional pull out drawers for pots/pans, etc.

I can't give enough accolades to Sean and Matthew and their crew for the great job they did installing our cabinets and coordinating our counter top installation. Chuck was our first contact with Affordable Cabinet, coming out to the house to give us all details, options and cost as well as answer our many questions. We liked him right away. (no gimmicky salesperson here!) Very nice genuine guy! He told us it would take 3 to 5 days to complete the job. A few glitches were taken care of right away to our satisfaction. I was notified by Stone One that the sink I ordered was not available and would I accept a different one. I wanted the one that I ordered and was willing to put the installation on hold until it came in. They managed to find it somewhere and the installation went as promised. Matthew and his helper came on time and worked diligently. They even repaired a cabinet floor that was severely warped. They also replaced the sink cabinet floor. Another glitch was our cabinets did not come in on time for Wednesday. When they did come in late, Sean, the owner brought them to our house and stayed and helped install them with Matthew to complete the job. The job was completed in 3 days. What a fabulous crew! Seeing that our 2 pull out trays did not fit in our new cabinets, Sean had new ones made for no charge. They were back installing the new pull out trays in less than 2 weeks. Every person that we dealt with from Affordable Cabinets and Stone One was professional and trustworthy. Both companies have great customer service! They truly aim to please. They were also considerably cheaper than an estimate we got from another company. We highly recommend them! I have to say one last thing....We LOVE our new cabinets and counters and wouldn't change a thing including the companies that installed them!! Thank you for doing a great job!

Affordable Cabinet Refacing owner was very nice and accommodating, as were the installers. All punch list items and requests to provide accommodations were gladly handled by Affordable Cabinet Refacing. The custom work is well done and to specification - it finishes the space off very well. If you have a kitchen to update, explore this option first! It was a very economical way to update two kitchens -- and they came out looking great.

The quote was reasonable and I got to pick everything out from my home. We scheduled the installation, which took less than a week, and they got it all done. There were a few quality issues with one of the doors and with the installation of crown molding, but they were very responsive to my feedback and took care of everything with no problems. Shawn is a pleasure to work with.

The job went very well, especially considering how complicated the installation really was. After signing the contract, detailed measurements were made and doors were custom ordered. The installation was difficult, as we had an integrated stainless steel sink and cabinet unit that had to be removed. Larry actually fabricated new cabinet frames in two locations. He then laminated the exterior surfaces and installed the doors and hardware. My wife was not present during this laminating phase, which is important. It turned out that the laminate color was not an exact match to the doors. (It looked fine to me, and was not obvious.) But when my wife saw it, she declared it unacceptable. Affordable rescheduled another day for us and completely re-did the laminate with the proper match. At their own expense! It took Larry at least an entire day to remove the doors and re-laminate the exterior. They even added some laminate and molding to additional areas in the kitchen soffit areas, above the cabinets, at my wife's request. So, to say we are very satisfied is an understatement! They went above and beyond and out kitchen turned out looking absolutely fabulous.

It was a smooth and timely experience and the price was very reasonable. We met with Shawn to discuss colors, finishes and layout options and got a rough estimate and he came on the weekend on our schedule. Based on his references, examples he showed us and the images on the web, and his estimate we booked him for the work. When he came back he spent hours measuring everything 3x and finalizing the estimate based on our decisions - there was little variance in the quote. We scheduled for 3 weeks out and started looking for a backsplash to match the new counter and cabinets and faucet for the new sink. It was a pleasure to work with this team of Shawn and Darryl and the kitchen came out amazing. The team was on time, minimized disruption and cleaned up along the way, and we are amazed at the finished product. I would recommend his work based on price and performance of the team, especially if your cabinet boxes are in fairly decent shape.

We purchased an older home with dark pine wood cabinets, which was not really our style. We had Shawn and his team come in to give us a quote on refacing and they were THOUSANDS of dollars cheaper than their competitors. We couldnt believe it, BUT they had the same exact cabinet and counter options. After we booked a install date, everything was all set. They came when expected and got the job done. The job did take a little longer than expected but we werent living in the house yet, so it was not a burden. Following their job, the kitchen looks great. It looks completely refreshed and modern - the granite counter tops are gorgeous! We are very happy - especially for the price! My only complaints are that the house was left a mess at the end of the job (the worker left laminate scraps all over my den and the cabinets were fulls of residue). I wouldn't have cared if we knew this would be the case, but I didn't realize we'd have to do so much clean up after. Also, the edges of the laminate are a little sharp and you can scratch yourself when taking dishes in and out. But again, for the price they charge, we don't mind it too much.

Went very well. Matthew was punctual and professional asking me various questions, concerning drawer knob location, etc.

They did a wonderful job on both mine and my sons cabinets. They didn't have to frame my microwave but they did and it looks very nice. They are very reasonable and honest.

When other companies said they were booked far into the future, Shawn fit me into his schedule. He arrived punctually and was very thorough. He took the measurements and told me when he expected to have the materials to do the job. Sure enough, he started right when he said he would, and he finished ahead of schedule. Best of all, though, are the results. It's like a new kitchen!I've worked with other cabinet refacers, and they didn't do nearly as good a job as Shawn. All the doors are hung straight and even, with uniform spacing. The miter joints on the trim molding are all neat with no gaps. The drawers slide smoothly. What more could I ask for?

When we decided to have our cabinets refaced, we hired www.AffordableCabinetRefacing.com I called to set up an appointment and they drove out to my house to show us sample doors and colors (which was nice since our lighting is not so good and I was able to see what it would look like with our lighting). Shawn met with my wife and I and he gave us a great price with NO high pressure sales tactics. We had estimates from other companies of $5,800, $6,700 and $7,700 and our kitchen is not large! Shawn quoted us $3,900 and that included everything. (Materials, Labor, new hidden Hinges & Molding, ) He gave us the install date and his crew showed up on time and they did everything that was promised. They were courteous and professional at all times and they cleaned up daily. They started on a Monday and finished on a Wednesday. The kitchen looks brand new and it was the best $3900 I have spent in a while!

Affordable Cabinet Refacing just finished up with a job at my house. They did a great job! I will give them an "A" on everything. We are so happy with the results! Shawn, Steve, Jason and Alan all did a wonderful job. They were all very professional and their workmanship was awesome. Would most definitely hire this company again. The layout of our kitchen could not be changed and the structure of our cabinets was still good, so we went the refacing option and could not be more pleased. We are getting tons of compliments.

Excellent! The cabinets look great, I'm very happy with the results. It looks like I have a new kitchen! The best part was that the bottom edge of one of the kitchen cabinets was chewed on by a puppy that I was taking care of for a week. When I contacted Shawn, he said they would repair it for free! That included materials and time as well. This just happened this month (December, 2011), so almost 3 years later they stand by their products, even though it was no fault of theirs! That's great customer service!

We met with the company owner to get an estimate and go over his proposal for services involved in getting our cabinets refaced. This took a little over an hour. His presentation was professional. We found he answered all of our initial questions. Then we got another estimate with another local company that also did an good presentation. They came in higher in price for similar services, but we also liked the thicker material that applied to the cabinets rather than just a sticky tape, it had to actually be nailed down. So we went with Affordable. Even though the other company did the work themselves and did not use outside contractors like Affordable. The owner came back to get the final measurements and have us sign the contract and set down 30% of the price. This meeting took about an hour and a half. A contractor was assigned our job by the owner and the job was scheduled within a week. It only took about a month from when we signed the contract to when the work started. It took 3 full days by one contractor. He cleaned up reasonably each time after he was done, setting aside his work items. The doors and materials were as was described to us. A couple cabinets were new as we had agreed on so that we could hang our microwave oven over the stove and replace a cabinet next to the sink that was just a shelf previously. At the end of the last day he was at our house we paid the rest of the balance due. We really like the way our kitchen looks now, more modern. We had a great experience with this company and they did a nice job finding out what we expected and telling us honestly what they could and couldn't do and then followed through.

His crew completed the job in a day and half. We were not 100% satisfied with the results as the thin veneer did not apply properly. It peeled in corners and looked wavy. After Shawn reviewed the pictures he handled the situation very professionally and offered to due the entire job over with the ¼” veneer. He rescheduled a week later and the results were FANTASTIC. Shawn went above and beyond to make this kitchen right. I HIGHLY recommend his company and the work they do. You can be confident in the job you will receive. I would use his services again and recommend to a friend.
