Affordable Cabinet Refacing

Description of Work: Unfortunately, the quote, which was reasonable, was a little out of range for what we wanted to spend. We will push this project down the road a bit to take care of some other priorities. Other than that, they were good. My only complaint is the woman answering the phone. She was very rude both times we called.

Description of Work: They did an ok job installing the tiles. If they had take time and not hurrying to finish, quality would be better. They did not do good job sealing the tiles before putting grout on it. There's left over grout all over the stones that are on tiles. Did return to clean it but did "hurried" clean job. Not quality wise.

Description of Work: We bought our house few years ago with an old kitchen, the cabinets were of real wood, pretty sturdy but the doors were painted, not closing properly, with old hinges, wooden painted countertop etc., so wanted to update/reface our kitchen. We invited 3 service providers and based on the price we selected Shawn's company, the Affordable Cabinets and it was the right choice. |We have new doors, drawers, hinges, granite countertop, sink, faucet and of course the outside surface of the cabinets. Shawn coordinated everything in the background. We had some difficult spots (around the microwave, trash) and Jack, who did the carpentry always found the right solutions which was practical and nice at the same time. He really did an excellent job. |So, I would really recommend Shawn and his company for this type of job. After the job done, practically we had a new kitchen for much lower price than a new kitchen. My wife and myself are really satisfied with the quality.

Description of Work: We had a complicated kitchen project and were "stuck" for a few years about how to handle it. Our upper cabinets were in great condition but the lower ones were not, and we wanted to remove a peninsula counter top and have a new cabinet put in its place to open up the room for an eat in kitchen. To cut a long story short, this was no problem at all for them. In one afternoon they had the lower cabinets all demolished and rebuilt the new ones in its place. They refaced the upper and lower cabinets to look identical and it looks AMAZING! We couldn't be happier with how it looks, and how professional, skilled and courteous the contractors were. They even did extra things for me at no charge so that I wouldn't have to get a handyman, like reframed the trim on my kitchen window, and putting a threshold on the newly installed flooring. I cannot say enough about how excellent the entire experience was. Prior to this, I was not accustomed to contractors showing up on time or doing something just outside the job description like Affordable does. We live in a 100 year old colonial and have had work done regularly for 18 years and this was the happiest we have ever been by far. Do not hesitate to hire Affordable Cabinet Refacing.

Description of Work: Reface (new doors and new drawers) existing 25+ year cabinets make like new. Built and installed custom cabinets / shelving to fill "gaps" in the kitchen layout. Shawn's complete team of the job estimator, Shawn himself taking the measurements, and the install team were all punctual and very professional. Description of Work: Replaced doors and drawer fronts, Installed slide out drawers under cabs, refaced existing oak exterior. I would get an estimate from Home Depot first because they will definitely be higher than these guys

Description of Work: I had my kitchen cabinets doors replaced. My counter top and table top were removed and new crown molding was added. Steve did the work for Affordable Cabinet Refacing and his work was superb. Shawn Williams the owner of the business did the initial visit. I explained to him what I wanted and he reviewed all the possibilities. He knew I wanted granite counters and sent me to Stone One Granite in Methuen. I not only picked out the granite but tile for the backsplash and a new sink. Shawn worked out the schedule so that Stone One came to install the counters and sink when Steve finished the cabinets. Right now my tile is being installed by Darrell who was recommended by Shawn. He is doing a great job and only has the grout to finish. I have a brand new kitchen in less than a week and the work was done promptly, professionally, and neatly. I would highly recommend Affordable Cabinets to anyone.
