They were very knowledge, very detailed oriented. The prep work was just much more specific in term of having it graded and ready to grab all of that. Much more specific than some of the other quotes I got. The estimate was very specific.

.They did a good job and I have no complaints about the work they did.

Owner arrived on time and gave his assessment that no grading was necessary.

They came and made some suggestions which were helpful. They came in very quickly and took them down. We would use them again in the future if need be.

A little disappointing for me since I ended up feeling as though I'd consulted with a company that was clearly "out of my league." I've no doubt any work they might do on my property would look stunning and be well thought out/executed, but I confess to being ok with spending a lot less money on "satisfactory" work vs. "outstanding" work so I will likely go with another landscaping service.

They came out exactly when they said they would. It was a free quote. They were very thorough and very professional. I was impressed with them, but I didn't use them. I chose a different direction. Their price was extremely high, but it wasn't their fault. They mailed and e-mailed the quote within a couple of days. They are pricey when compared to some others for the same material supply. It's my belief that if they were to do the job they would have done it to the standards that were quoted. I had a very good feeling about the company. They do have a reputation of being expensive and they met that reputation. I would use them for something else like other landscaping issues, though.

They are great and did a fantastic job. They built beautiful walls.

Overall, an excellent interaction. Very professional.

Our big complaint is that we hired the designer, and went with his design because it used native plants as much as possible. We were quite specific about not wanting invasives. BUT, Japanese barberry--a very invasive, very fast growing, very thorny and difficult was installed as part of the planting. We have struggled with these stupid plants (pretty, but entirely unruly and causing many injuries every fall and spring with their horrid thorns) for years, and this spring finally ripped the damned things out at the roots.

Everything was completed in a timely fashion and exactly as stated in the estimate. While the price was slightly higher than other estimates, we could not be happier with the end product. It has now been a year since the work was completed. We have gone through winter and spring rains and the driveway has performed beautifully. No difficulty with drainage. There are no spots on the driveway where the water collects and the surface has maintained its texture and quality exactly as when it was new.

They were prompt, careful, and had the driveway cleared before I needed it.

They were courteous and had knowledge of the requested work. They were excellent in responding. I would use them again in the future.

We are very happy about the whole experience, which is very hard to do when you build a house. You usually want to kill those people.

They were professional from start to finish. They were a bit more expensive than other estimates, but they did exactly what they said they would do and did it well.

They were incredibly professional. A person called Steve came out. He was very helpful and very patient. He listened to my thoughts and gave me ideas. He was very candid. He seemed fair and honest. I felt very good about the company based on him. I got the quote. It was very thorough and very clear which I liked. The contract was very official which is also great. There were some things that I wanted to change and just wanted to see what the prices were. That was when things started getting broken down. I called them back and Steve was on vacation. They said he was out and would be back the next day. They said he would call me back but that did not happen. They were a good company but we had problems during the final follow through. Meanwhile, I was contacting other people and I found someone closer who was probably going to be cheaper because it was less transportation. They were coming from a town that was 45 minutes from me. It was much closer and so the costs would be less if I hired them. I probably will use Taylor Davis Landscape and Construction Company in the future.

We have an arched yard, it is not flat. They mowed and cleaned it. The price we paid would sound outrageous unless one actually sees my yard. I am happy to say that it was not cheap but it was a reasonable amount. They were fabulous. The guy who came to the house was extremely responsive. He came very quickly. He went out of his way to accommodate me. The work that they did for me, they don't do in my area. They don't bring the equipment where I live but they made an exception for me. They did it really quickly. Everybody was really nice and pleasant. They did an incredible job. I will use them again in the future.

I continue to use them because of the service they provide and they are nice. They are very good about fixing any issues I have. I didn't compare the price because I would rather go with them than anyone else.

Ed and his crew were just amazing. Ed and his crew came in and killed all the crab grass. They also filled the hole where the above ground pool used to be. They also cut some shrubs and trans-planted some plants. Two days later they came back and hydro-seeded (my lawn. Ed told me exactly how often I need to water the lawn. Since I do not have an watering system, he told me I need to purchase to effectively water the lawn. He even came back to show me how to water the lawn. Within two weeks of hydro-seeding my lawn, I now have grass. They even cut some shrubs and reveal a stone wall that I did not know I had and did not charge for it. While they were killing my lawn, they accidentally over sprayed and killed some of my neighbors lawn on the property boarder. Ed and his crew came back and fixed the problem.

It went very well. I appreciated the detailed plan of the work that Steve drew, and his attention to my concern about the dip in level that forced water to pool every time it rained - and ice to form in winter. The new driveway is slightly raised, and slopes toward the lawn on one side, allowing water to run off. There is no longer any dip in level. Raising the driveway necessitated building up the lawn, which Taylor Davis did, seeding it so that it has grown in quite quickly and successfully. The work was completed in one day, with a large crew and several big machines of various types speeding it along. Everyone was polite and professional, and the end result looks neat and functions very well.

I called about 8 contractors for estimates. Many only did commercial paving or did not get back to me. I ended up getting two companies to come out to do estimates. Both were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I went with Taylor Davis because their quote was $600 dollars less. Steven came out to do my quote. He extremely knowledgeable of landscaping and paving and helped me get the best looking layout for the shape that I wanted. He also gave me a lot of tips for different shrubs and trees in my yard. He gave me a detailed written estimate and sent me a formal one within a few days. The team started a few days after I sent in the agreement. They did tell me that business was slow due to the high asphalt prices right now. They did an amazing job and finished in 2 days. They had to prune a lot of shrubs but they called me at work to discuss it before they did any pruning. There was no extra charge. A few weeks after the job, we had a ton of rain and there was a small sink hole in my yard. The edge of the sinkhole affected a small part of the driveway (about 1 x foot). They came back out and fixed it at no cost. The driveway looks beautiful.
