+ -1 moreThe company was abrupt, expensive, and below average in quality. They had to be called back to do some finishing touches. One of them to clean a screen of dust and spiderwebs. I was told that they couldn't clean the screen because it couldn't be removed. I came back later and cleaned the screen myself and didn't take the screen off. They are extremely expensive for the quality of their services.
Description of Work: Cleaned a 4-edroom house from top to bottom.

+ -1 moreI don't have a dog anymore, but I have a scent. They didn't know what I was talking about when I asked them to clean it. I found them on Yellow pages. That was the first and last time that I used them. I called them and told them that they had said they would remove the smell, but it was still there, and he just said that there was nothing they could do about it. They didn't stand behind their work. They charged $75, and they were here just for 10 or 15 minutes. They were very nice when they were here, but they didn't do the job I asked them to. When it wasn't done right, they argued with me, and wouldn't come back. They were here on time.
Description of Work: I used Amherst Maintenance. They cleaned my carpets. They were here to do one room, and I asked them to deodorize the carpet, and they cleaned it, and a couple of days later, you could smell the dog scent.

+ -1 moreCalled the company, made an appointment for a carpet cleaning after asking a few questions about service. The day of the appointment, the man showed up on time, and commenced to cleaning the carpet. He worked diligently until the job was done, cleared out his equipment, and the wall to wall carpet looked great. He told me that they do all kinds of maintainance, and the next time I need work, I will call Amherst Maintainance first.
Description of Work: Excellent service on the phone, the man showed up in time, did a great job, and was friendly but professional. I will definitely call this service again.

+ -1 moreWe have used Amherst Maintenance many times over the years for our home plus rental property. We are very pleased and highly recommend this company for cleaning carpets. Not really any details to share.
Description of Work: We had a thick wall to wall carpet cleaned due to dogs. The staff is very professional, courteous, and prompt. They carefully moved some furniture and were careful that other furniture left in the room did not stain the carpet when wet.

+ -1 moreI took the rugs to them and they cleaned them at their shop. They did a very good job. They had a tight turnaround time and they me that. I was very pleased. There are too many other choices, and they are close by. The price was fair.
