The crew worked thoroughly and expertly on friday, and then returned saturday afternoon to complete the work even though the company normally does not work on saturdays. This was in response to our need to get the job done so we could move the furniture back in. The floors look terrific.

Floors were scheduled to be complete Friday 15th but were not finished and dried until Tuesday the 19th. Floors had to be scrapped and refinished a second time becasue the poly bobbled, streaked and caked. Final coat after a second try were still bubbled. Operator said he didn't know why this happened. This was before the heat wave so temperature should not have been a factor. Job was on rental property. Needed every day to prepare apartment for new tenant. Loosing this time was crucial to my schedule. Outcome of the job was not great.

Floor Sanders was very punctual, responsive and professional. Would definitely use Floor Sanders again and recommend them to others.

We worked with Varouj Nersesian. He was very responsive, easy to work with, and also professional. He came, gave us a fair estimate, and then managed the work. He personally made sure that it was done right, and was also available when we had questions-- the floors initially were worn and scuffed, and they looked great after they were done. Afterwards, I did notice some marks on our baseboards from the sanding machine, and he volunteered to come and touch those up and repaint if needed. All in all, we were very satisfied and will use them again.

The most professional of 4 floor refinishers I've worked with over the past decade. Excellent finish-carpentry skills restoring fine old wood, and highest standards of craftsmanship. They showed up on time, followed through, with good communications. Their advice was invaluable. They're expensive, but worth every penny. The result was, by far, the most dazzling of all the refinishers I've worked with. Their master craftsman Kane is a genius, with 35 years experience (20 with this company). If quality is your goal, use this firm.

They were really excellent. They were extremely professional, did excellent work and they were really neat. They moved the furniture and made sure that there was absolutely no dust. They finished the work in 2 days and the house was very clean when I was back. The work they did was much better than what I had expected.

This is the first time we can say that a home service was even better than expected! Completed more quickly than estimated, extremely clean and perfect care. Even the floors look better than expected! The decision took years to decide on, but only a couple days to have them done!

It was a great experience to work with Varouj and his people. He was able to give an appointment for the estimate within couple of days, came on time for the appointment, and was very assuring and honest when he discussed the project with us. Even though his price was slightly higher than the average of estimates we got from others, we chose him because he gave us the impression that we could count on him for a good quality work. His people came on time during the day we agreed on, and did a great job that lasted exactly as we were told, so we did not have to extend our hotel stay. The new floors look very good, hope they last longer than the previous contractor's finish (which had only lasted about 6 months).

They did a great job. I was a little skeptical when Varouj gave me a phone estimate rather than needing to see it, but figured they do a lot of this in the Boston area (1870's row-house), and they were recommended by the manufacturer of the product I wanted used. I wanted a Sutherland Wells tung oil finish which I found in Old House Interiors magazine, rather than a plastic looking polyurethane. The two men (very knowledgeable "chief" and helper) showed up promptly, contained the dust, and explained the process. A large gap between the wall and floor was covered by boarding (included in the charge) after I stuffed a lot of insulation into it. They returned for a total of 3 more visits to apply the tung oil, which needs a day or two between applications. They were gracious when I mistakenly forgot to leave an entry key the day I worked, and returned the next day. They also reassured me that the floor was coming out the way it should, as old pine has differing stain characteristics and patterns (not an "even" overall color) and answered all my questions. It was a pleasure dealing with both the workers and Varouj, and I will definitely have them return (only three more floors to go).
