Raimond's did an excellent job on our move. They showed up right on time, took good care of our belongings by disassembling and reassembling large pieces of furniture, wrapping fragile items, etc., and were very efficient during the loading and unloading process.

Everything was excellent - from submitting a request, receiving a quote, updating with an adjustment of size/scope, to arrival, packing and delivery. I've used a few companies to move and I would stick with Raimond's. I had naturally assumed that the estimate I was given wouldn't be even close when I was done with the move but it was dead on - the quote was perfect! I called to discuss the move based on my capacity I submitted and instead of arguing they just added another small truck and 2 more guys and maintained their flat rate they quoted me. The bottom line with the move is that everything I packed myself in boxes was handled with care and packed professionally. Anything I didn't pack they put in boxes as required and packed securely. Larger items were all wrapped in blankets and shrink wrapped and everything made it from location A to location B with no damage at all. No scuffs on any walls or doorways and all items ended up in the room that I marked. I provided the movers with a numbered floor plan and they learned it quickly. They also dismantled and rebuilt some of my furniture as well - no issues there either. I recommend these guys to anyone - they removed all the stress from moving day and you cannot put a price tag on that.

Moved it from the second floor of an old house with narrow hallways and stairwells. Protected all furniture with blankets and tape (that didn't cost extra). Expertly put the bed together in the new house. Put all furniture in the exact spot where I asked. Very pleasant people. Arrived early and ready to work. They were also fast and worked hard to get everything done.

Positively brilliant. We used Raimonds in April 2014 to move from Plymouth to Waltham and in June 2015 to move from Waltham to Sharon. Both moves were flawlessly performed by Dimitri and his crew. Raimonds price was good. His crew works extremely hard and fast so you get your money's worth. The men were extremely polite and respectful. A couple of specifics are worthy of note. Both moves were substantial, requiring 2 twenty six foot trucks and crews of 8 men plus Dimitri. In all that time there was only one minor breakage, an old, cheap lamp was broken. Dimitri paid for the breakage without me even asking. Not a single fragile item was chipped or broken. The packing was meticulous and each item was treated with care. When my woodshop was moved to a room with new wood flooring, Dimitri told his crew to protect the new floor with cardboard. As a result there was not a single scratch on the new floor even though heavy machinery had been brought in. What was positively brilliant was the move of a table saw weighing over two hundred pounds up a flight of stairs through a doorway that was 1/4 inch wider than the saw without even a scuff on the newly painted walls. Raymond's gets our seal of excellence without hesitation.

Service was spectacular. All 3 individuals were courteous and professional. The move went very smoothly and they set up all the beds and tables. We highly recommend Raimonds Movers to others!

I used Raimond's Movers and have nothing but good to tell about them. 2 days before the move, I emailed Raimond and requested for a 24ft truck since I decided to make a stop at the storage area and have the stuff moved. Raimond promptly replied back and promised a 26ft truck. On the day of move, the movers called and said they were running late due to traffic, no biggie. They arrived and immediately started working. They were very professional and to the point. They took time to clearly pack the fragile stuff like picture frames and TVs. Made sure nothing got damaged during the move w.r.t to the stuff and also the place. They hit a roadblock since the Queen size board did not fit in the new place staircase, so they offered alternatives and made sure they got the bed up the stairs. All in all, I am very happy with their service and highly recommend them. I only wished I knew that I would end up paying 3% more since I had to pay with my credit card.

They were prompt, courteous and very professional taking extra care on new hardwood floors to put on furniture pads etc. I would definitely use them again .

Raimond and his workers are just terrific! He came in with the lowest number of the 3 estimates we got, and the actual cost was right in the middle of the estimate range he gave us. His guys have a terrific work ethic -- just one short lunch break per day, no wasting time. They were professional, careful with our possessions, respectful to my husband and me, cooperative and cheerful. We will definitely use them again when we move next year, and we can't recommend them highly enough. Note: They'll charge less if you move on Monday-Thursday.

I was very happy working with this company. They were super professional. They showed up on time and moved us efficiently in the rain. The movers very very considerate and took special care not to make too much of a mess tracking in rain and mud which was very much appreciated. They disassembled and reassembled all our furniture perfectly. Overall a very great experience and we plan to use them again when we move this spring.

This is the second time I have used Raimond's Movers. Their website is really easy and they are very responsive to questions. Prompt arrival and very professional. Best of all, they did a very challenging move for us, including stairs, a large hill, and driving rain in freezing temperatures. They wrapped everything carefully, and kept everything dry (I don't even know how), and they worked as fast as they could. They even packed a few things for us that we couldn't pack ourselves (large frames, etc). Reasonable price for a great service.

This is the second time I've used Raimond's Movers. The first was in Sept 2012. Both moves went very smoothly and I was very impressed with each crew. They showed up on time and they hustled, which is exactly what you want to see when you're paying people by the hour. They packed everything very carefully and I haven't seen any evidence of the move in the form of nicks or marks on the walls or floors. I used another "A" grade moving company relatively recently and, if I hadn't used Raimond's team, probably would have been perfectly happy with the other company. However, because I have a point of comparison, I would definitely recommend these guys over the other company. I did see evidence of the move with that other company and the guys moved at a decent pace, but not as fast as this group. One more thing to look for as you're comparison shopping is the travel time. Raimond is one of the few that charges a flat rate. I really got burned with the other company when I ended up spending 3-4 hours on travel time for a crew of 4 because they had two days of round trips from 5 miles away. I wish I could've used Raimond's Movers for that job too, but couldn't.

They were super fast, got the job done in 2.5 hours! Very reasonably priced, I thought, check the chart on their website, there are no surprises. Disassembled and reassembled furniture, wrapped everything up for transport (no extra cost for the furniture protection), positioned everything where asked. They protect all the furniture without being asked but in terms of other stuff like helping you pack difficult items, laying down runners, etc., be sure that you ask for it clearly.

THEY WERE GREAT I USED THEM TWICE IN A WEEK. FIRST FOR HEAVY AND SEASONAL ITEMS. THEN FOR FRAGILE AND DAILY USE ITEMS. THEY WERE ON TIME, WORKED HARD AND DIDNT DAMAGE ANYTHING

I will say first off that I recognize we were not an easy move, going from a second story three bedroom apartment (lots of books, double-decker washer/dryer that had to go into a tight space, large furniture) to a three floor plus basement house. So I appreciate that the movers did a lot of hard work on the day they moved us, and to show some of that appreciation, we bought them lunch and tipped well. However, a few things keep me from giving a stronger review. One is that after our move, I discovered that the only really valuable piece of furniture we own had a large splinter knocked out of the top (unfortunately I hadn't seen it before my husband signed off on the job). I think responsible movers would have brought this to our attention. Another is that while lifting my dresser, a long-missing bra top fell out from underneath it. This occasioned a lot of animated conversation and laughing in I think Russian, which I have to say I could not help but think was directed towards me. Maybe I am wrong, but still, it was mortifying. Finally, by the end of the move the movers were clearly annoyed with us for the move taking longer than anticipated. I don't feel this was fair because when placing the online reservation, I made a point of mentioning the washer/dryer, books, large furniture and so on. I feel like the estimate was low-balled to get our business. On the positive side, apart from the damaged piece of furniture, they were good about wrapping and padding most other things, and they did get us moved. They were also right on time in the morning, which was appreciated.

I can't say enough about this company. When an earlier move completed sooner than planned they called and asked if they could come an hour earlier than scheduled and showed up at the exact time. They had to move a refrigerator from the 1st floor apt to a 2nd floor apt thru 2 hallways that were very narrow and one which had a handicapped chair. It was a struggle but 2 men got it done quickly and without any damage to appliance or walls. They had to remove the doors as well. Then they moved one room of furniture out thru the same narrow hallway to a storage POD. Total moved was completed in less time than planned. They were very professional and courteous.

My husband and I have moved 7 times in the past five years. We've had different movers each time and each time had a different set of problems (late, slow, rude, careless, etc.). These guys were different - they were by far the best movers we've used. They came right on time, were efficient, helpful and very pleasant (even with four flights of stairs). Best of all, they were completely reasonable and upfront on price. The next time we move, I'm calling Raimond's again.

The movers were very punctual and professional. I never had a big move before and they were good with answering my question on the phone prior to the moving day. We scheduled for 9am i think and they showed up a quarter of. We were moving out of an apt on a small street and despite having gotten a moving/ parking permit from the city, people ignored the signs and parked anyway. I was pretty flustered but they somehow magaged to park the giant truck on the curb. They were speedy and courteous. We didn't have any expensive furniture but they were still careful with them and wrapped everything. Most of the furniture had to go up 3 flights of narrow stairs too + my husband had a book collection (20ish boxes i think) which were very heavy. The move was done by 12. I didn't shop around too much so I can't say what's a good price, but I think it's money well spent and we're happy with the results.

The movers came in my house, sized up the fridge and did what they had to do in minutes. They evendid extras, like remove pictures from the hallway walls etc. And they were very polite about it.

On the most difficult moving day in Boston - September 1st - when all leases begin and end, Raimond's Movers showed up on time and really hustled to get everything out of the second floor of one place and into the third floor of the second place. I would hire them again - and probably will.

They were great and did an excellent job. They were very professional and did everything the way they said they would do. They were a first-rate company. I would recommend them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Well, getting these people on the phone and getting any good help on the phone is a challenge. I decided to go with them anyway because they were highly recommended by a friend of a friend and their prices were competitive. Two movers showed up on time (in fact I was late as I never had movers show up on time before!) and managed to move all of my stuff ( I have a lot of stuff) from my apartment and basement storage area into my new place down the road in 4 hours. My previous move (with a different company) took about 5 hours with 3 movers and cost double the price! I could not believe how much better Raimond's was in regards to their positive attitude, professionalism and efficiency. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. I had a really positive experience with these movers.

I scheduled online to reserve the date of July 5th. I got a confirmation by email, but on July 5th, no one showed up. I called and they told me that the confirmation was for my wish to make a reservation, but it was not confirmation that I made the schedule for a move. Huh? I told them it was a good thing I was due out of my apartment by the end of the month and had additional time to move. They rescheduled me for July 10th. They actually called again to try to fit me in sooner, but I stuck with the 10th. On July 10th, everything went as planned. Two guys showed up with a big truck, and they moved all my things out, which they said, "isn't a lot of stuff." It was to me, as I had a washing machine, bedroom furniture, 10 boxes, a treadmill, a few tables and chairs, a sofa, and a few other really heavy things. I helped them move the small things, and they accepted the help. This allowed them to get me moved from one place to another within the minimum two hour period. I only paid just over $200 for the services, and tipped them handsomely. The guys were fast, efficient, and courteous. They also properly wrapped and protected all my belongings, and they disconnected the washing machine too. I was so happy with their services, that the earlier mishap was not such a big deal after all. It's hard to get someone to answer the phone during the day, the best time to call is really early in the morning. Otherwise, I give them a great review, and I'd recommend them to others.
