Bi-Glass Systems

Description of Work: Bi-Glass Systems is a company that licenses window companies to install it's patented system. The first experience I had was with a company 8 years ago and I was very happy with the system and the quality of work. A contractor sanded the window panes. So I called the current dealer to replace the glass. Chestnut Hill windows. They did poor quality work. They started in Sept '08 and still haven't finished in my opinion. The biggest problem is the jambliners. CHW insisted that I needed new jambliners. I wasn't having any difficulty with original jambliners and the windows staying up. But, I gave in and allowed the new jambliners. Now my windows will not stay up and a few of the sashes are ruined. They installed junk jambliners and admit that they were defective. BUT here is the complaint I have. Bi-Glass is still selling this system to people and not telling them that in about 7 years the jambliners will fail and the windows will fall or fall out! They also are aware of this problem, but do nothing to improve these jambliners. The website touts the jambliners as the optimal solution to the jamb part of the windows. Anyone looking to install Bi-Glass windows, BE AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. For the price - the jambliners should last 20 years!
