From start to finish, the Arcbazar group was helpful, responsive, and prompt - really impeccable from a "client" perspective. I believe Arcbazar is a relatively young company, and I have no doubt they will have great future success based on this alone. It is a rarity in the business world these days. In addition, the international community of designers/architects that participate in these competitions is top-notch. This is something that I never thought would be accessible to me as an average person, and that is the beauty of Arcbazar's "crowd sourcing" concept. As I write this, I am already preparing for my next design competition!

We had an excellent experience! Prior to finding Arcbazar, we had received estimates from architects around 10K, which was way out of our budget. And, those architects would not have provided the 3D renderings we received. We feel like we got an excellent product for a steal! After the contest, we were connected with our winning designer and have continued to work with him on minor changes to the design. I cannot write enough good things about the whole process, the staff at Arcbazar, and the winning designer. We are very satisfied and I highly recommend Arcbazar! We will use them again for sure.

It went extremely well. I had several high quality proposals to choose from. Many of the designers took the opportunity to ask very detailed questions during the process. I was amazed at the level of detail that was included in the submissions. Several architects even went so far as to include my city's skyline in the backdrop of the Deck's design. It was very exciting when each of the proposals came in at the end of the 1-week competition. It was actually a challenge to pick the the top 3 from all of the submissions. I ended up continuing to work with the winning architect at the conclusion of the competition to further fine tune the design. I had such a great experience that I can't wait to plan my next home improvement project.

Most of the submissions were excellent, but more importantly, we had the luxury of choosing specific ideas that we really liked from each of the designers, which puts us in a much better position to move quickly ahead with a local architect to complete the details of the design and move on to actual construction. Considering that the cost to receive all of these designs and ideas through arcbazar was a small fraction of what we would pay an architect to do the project from scratch, we are much ahead of the game and believe we will achieve a better result for an overall lower cost. In addition, the arcbazar people were most pleasant and helpful through the whole process, and have recommended local architects for us to consider to carry the project through to completion. Highly recommended.

We were looking to build a house on a new lot that we purchased recently. We went through the traditional route first of hiring a local architect and giving him a three page list of how we wanted the house to be. He came back with sketches of floorplans that had nothing incorporated on what we had listed in writing which showed us that he didn't even read it. We were very upset and disappointed. So, I started searching for achitects on Angie's list and found this new company which sounded very promising and more economical and diverse than working with just one architect. We ran the competition for the house floorplan for the month of October and after a month we received six floorplans from different architects. In the mean time Imdat was very helpful with all the questions I had, and I had a lot.., always very quick to respond even late at night on weekends. The service arcbazaar provides is so unique but it is so needed. The beauty of all is that we set the price for the project knew exactly how much it's going to cost and had architects from all over the world to look at our project which would have been impossible otherwise. This is a great business concept for architecture, remodeling, and interior designing. We are thrilled to have found an architect who has envisioned and created what we wanted and all that happened with him just reading the list. We never spoke or met the architect during the competition, he just had the list and included everything in it. We look forward to working with him to complete the building process of our house. We are so happy with arcbazaar's service that we would like to run another competition in the future for the interior design/decorating of this house too. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to build a custom home!

This was a great experience. I wanted some help with interior design for my living room and had even looked into interior designers on Angie's List. When a coupon was advertised for online design competitions, I was intrigued by the idea of getting this service virtually.The Arcbazar staff are very helpful and very patient as they direct you to gather the appropriate materials for a competition. Since I had never paid for this type of service before, I appreciated their recommendations for a proposed fee. When the competition deadline arrived, I was sent a compressed file of four entries and was delighted to see the quality of each one. I am confident to proceed with recommendations from all four designers. Only wish I had heard of Arcbazar's before I did my kitchen renovation. I will definitely consider using Arcbazar again.

Overall it was pretty smooth and I think is a good concept. The Angie's List coupon for 50% off was confusing as there is no coupon code to enter with arcbazar. The coupon should be modified and more user friendly as my design cost $165.00 out of pocket but the competition award was only for $215.00.
