AA ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE CLEANING

Excellent thorough cleaning. After the deep cleaning, the allergic reactions were eliminated. It's amazing after one deep cleaning that such a difference was experienced. They were great to work with to set up a new account. Great communication, willing to work with our schedule, and did exactly what we expected. And quick to respond.

They were a pleasure to work with. They were very responsive and worked hard to fit me into their schedule so my house would be welcoming for expected company. They came even a bit early, got right to work, and left the place sparkling clean. Worth every penny!

I had a good response from AA regarding setting up an appointment after my purchase. It all went down hill the day of my service. Team was supposed to arrive around 12:15pm. They did not arrive until 1:45pm. An AA staff member responded to me by saying they forgot to send me an arrival time. The 12:15pm time was confirmed via email on 6/22/15 at 2:51pm. In regards to the cleaning, there was streaking along the oven, refrigerator, and microwave. The wood floors did not appear cleaned. Also, there was no follow-up fro AA regarding the time mix-up or how my cleaning went.

I am delighted to write this review for the company. They have been cleaning my house for the last four years. Before engaging with AA Environmentally Safe Cleaning, we had used another company that had repeated problems with scheduling, including last minute changes or forgetting to show up. In four years, I believe AAESC has rescheduled exactly one time (with a week's notice to reschedule at our convenience), because our cleaning was scheduled on a national holiday. Every other time, they arrived without fail, on time. On a few occasions, I contacted the company by email to reschedule or to schedule an additional cleaning, and they responded within a few hours, and were always more pleasant and flexible than I even expected. The cleaning crew consisted of four sweet women who were very efficient and thorough. They mostly came when we weren't home, but if one of us happened to be there, they were kind and accommodating. They were trustworthy, and I never worried about my belongings. In fact, one time, I couldn't find something and wondered if they had moved it while cleaning. I emailed the company, and within a few hours got the response that the owner had contacted the team leader, who remembered where she had seen the item. Sure enough, it was my fault for forgetting where I had put it. Ha! I can't give a higher recommendation to this company. If you want a hassle free experience, trustworthy cleaners, responsive office staff, and a great value, call them.

We loved the service! We chose them initially because we have a parrot and they are very sensitive to chemical fumes and can die if exposed to them. AA uses only non-toxic cleaners but they use ones that do a beautiful job. Even if you don't have birds or are not concerned with the environment, I would highly recommend the company. Their work is top notch and it was always a joy to come home to a spotless house. We used them for more than 2 years but recently moved out of town. They were always very responsive and flexible, if a holiday fell on our cleaning day or a snowstorm prevented the team from getting to our house, our cleaning would be quickly changed to a time of our liking within just a few days of our normal day. Elizabeth, the owner was wonderful and very attentive. She followed up instantly anytime I called. I rarely saw the team because they would come while I was at work and leave the house spick and span for me to come home to. They were patient with our bird whom I'm sure must have driven them crazy with her screaming. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who requires high quality cleaning and a friendly and responsive team. We will miss them in our new home!

OMG -- if there was a rating of A++ I would give it. First, a representative came by for a 10-min. walk-through to allow for questions/explanations on both sides. The company could actually schedule me the next day! Three employees came and cleaned the house in only 2 hours, and they were extremely thorough. They moved furniture, knickknacks, etc., even places where I never thought would get cleaned. The employees didn't mask their effort with strong, smelling cleaners, and everything shined. Thank yoiu!!!

I bought the $100 for six rooms deal. They were great, on time, extremely responsive to emails, and my house felt cleaner than ever. I now use them on a monthly basis.

We chose AAESC to clean our apartment once my son was born. We didn't want to many harsh chemicals used I our house and needed the helping hand. They have been great! The team does a great job cleaning our house with their safe and naturally based products. They are good with small requests like removing shoes or starting other rooms while we finish breakfast. Despite tricky parking in our neighborhood the team's arrival is consistent. Dealing with the central office and team lead makes communication easy. If you want reliable and safe cleaning this is a great service!

I'm very happy with the service they provide. As others have said, they are prompt and were extremely flexible with their scheduling when I had a last-minute conflict. Also, they are very courteous and professional. In terms of the actual cleaning, I'm very happy with the end results. I asked them to focus on my bathroom and kitchen, and it's been fantastic. Also, they use a Miele vacuum at my place, so I feel very comfortable that my rugs and floors are clean!

We have been using AA for about 6 months now and everything has been wonderful. Their communication is fantastic and they are almost always on time. The crew is polite and always takes that extra step when cleaning the house.

They are great. I contacted them when our baby was born, since family and friends would be coming over 1 week later. They were able to squeeze us into their schedule, and did a really nice job cleaning. I liked that they use nontoxic cleaners (I believe vinegar plays a big role), and have the HEPA Miele vacuum (same as I do). Elizabeth is very responsive to all my emails, and I really have appreciated that.

They're incredibly professional and thorough. We also like that they use natural cleaning products. Moreover, they're very flexible with schedule changes, which has been very helpful for us. Finally, they always get back to us quickly when we contact them with questions.

I've been using AA to clean my condo in Arlington for the past year, and I've been pleased with their work. They've consistently done a good job cleaning, and the crew is reliable.

They're great. They use safe chemicals, and they're great cleaners. They're very reliable, and flexible with scheduling. They're polite and professional, and they're very pleasant to deal with. They're a little pricey, but that cost is offset by the safety of their products and the quality of their work.

As someone who is concerned about environmental issues, finding a cleaning company that uses environmentally-friendly products is very important. After some research, I found this company and contacted them. The owner met with me at my house, only to tell me that they didn't have any openings available: why not just let me know this via email (owner refuses to communicate via telephone--which is beyond weird--and is not prompt with email responses). During our meeting, she informed me that the cleaners would not dust any surface with items on it, which pretty much meant every surface in our house. She also had a number of other "restrictions." All in all, I was not comfortable with the vibe, so decided not to contact this company again. Eventually, I found another company, Terramaids--which also uses environmentally-friendly products--and have been very happy with their professionalism: we even have their phone number (imagine that!) to text or call if there are any problems (and there have been virtually none), and they respond almost immediately. What kind of business refuses to give their phone number?

They are really! They are excellent!

First of all, know that these people will refuse to communicate with you by phone, even when there's a problem. I had emailed for a quote, we negotiated and I accepted a date for a visit, then the person didn't show up. A follow up email blamed me because I should have looked for a confirmation. They offered me the date/time, I accepted, and they didn't follow up and I was supposed to assume the appointment wasn't made? We rescheduled because I was most interested in their eco friendly services. The person who came to my house assured me that all products and equipment were eco and allergy safe AND that all of her staff spoke English and could communicate fluently. We went over a list of items that would be important to me and scheduled and, again, had to wait through over a week's worth of poor email communication to even set up the first day. You might ask why I even stuck with them to this point, but I thought that once we got on a regular schedule we would be fine with the email. I was confirmed for my first appointment AND confirmed for my bi-weekly day from there. When they came for the initial cleaning, the staff not only couldn't communicate with me, but I asked a few simple questions of the lead person who seemed to be able to communicate best, and she couldn't answer very simple questions for me. When I came home, I found my place relatively clean with some marked errors - a few things missed entirely, like a whole section of the tub - which might even forgivable but not for a first cleaning where the price is 40% higher and meant to be a deep cleaning - and some specific things like leaving curtains looking like the room was ransacked, that I specified were important not to do (both at my initial meeting and with the people who were here). My question about the vaccuum (if it had a hepa filter as advertised, since it did not look like a hepa product) never got answered. You would think that a company would follow up after the first cleaning, but this one did not. I was scheduled for my second cleaning with them, per their own email system for two weeks from then. On the day before the cleaning, I contacted them to find out what time they were coming so that I could make arrangements for entry. I asked them to call me. I got an email from Elizabeth, the owner, telling me that they'd come the following week instead because of the snow. A whole week? I had a birthday party scheduled for that weekend and no time to have someone new come. My allergies prevent me from doing a lot of this myself, and Elizabeth knew that. Yet, she was willing, without even contacting me to notify me (I had to initiate this) to just have me wait 3 weeks for their services. Even worse, her response to my concern about the lack of communication was, "The team does fully understand you and should not be confused. Had they not fully understood you then they are to stop, call the manager (our translator ) and hand you the phone to tell her so she can then tell the team and get done what you ask." I specifically tell her that the team did NOT understand me and that they couldn't answer my questions and her response is that the team DOES understand me? Is this any way to do business? I also asked her to call me that day. TWICE. She did not. She offered to call me to see if she could schedule something but refused to call me that day. She also made the decision for me that I would prefer to wait a week than have a different day that week (early week snow storm that backed up their services for others) without asking or even considering what I might prefer. And, after telling her that I had some concerns about the cleaning that I had hoped to address, her only response was that she hoped I was satisfied with the cleaning and that the reviews on Angie's List are important to them. If that was the case, they should have provided better customer service. I would never even consider giving them another chance after all of this. Clearly, the don't listen and they don't respect their clients needs or time. Given the multiple lies in her emails to me, I would suggest that any members here take any response made by this agency with that in mind.

We were very impressed from start to finish. First, these folks are incredibly responsive. Within an hour, I'd received a reply indicating that they typically do not schedule one-time only service, because they prioritize their regular customers, but they were willing to make an exception because we had a baby coming and we happened to be nearby several of their other customers. In other words, their communication was clear and respectful. Next, the day that we scheduled a visit in order for them to generate a quote, the woman who came was right on time. She was friendly, professional, efficient, and explained the types of environmentally friendly cleaning products they used. For our oven, which had baked-on residue from over a year's use without cleaning, she offered us the choice of Easy-Off or a nontoxic alternative. (They only use the Easy-Off for deep cleanings; for regular customers, they prefer using the nontoxic cleansers.) We had a very reasonable estimate within 2 days of her visit, and less than a week later, they were able to come and clean. The results: Wow. I noticed the difference immediately on walking in. First, everything sparkled. We clean regularly, but never had our efforts resulted in such a sparkling clean as they were able to provide. Moreover, our home did NOT smell like chemicals - there was no smell at all, thankfully, just a very clean home. The hardwood floors were now really clean, including in the crevices near appliances, along baseboards, etc. The counters and stove and oven were spotless, and to top it off, they had even cleaned the inside of our microwave. I have no idea how they restored our several-year-old microwave to such cleanliness. The kitchen sink and faucet were gleaming, and the coffeemaker had been cleaned; they had scrubbed the dish drainer and counter underneath, etc. Dusting was thorough everywhere, including bookshelves, baseboards, windowsills, etc. Perhaps the best part was in the two bathrooms, where again, everything shined and the dust and grime had been cleared away. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I will caution that others should understand that it is not their regular policy to do one-time only cleanings, but if that's what you want, they will probably work with you to see if they can arrange it. We were completely pleased with the cleaning, punctuality, communication, and professionalism, and all for a very reasonable price. Kudos to AA Environmentally Safe Cleaning. We are now seriously considering becoming a monthly regular customer.

They are fantastic. Always go above and beyond. They've been cleaning our place for almost a year now and i have no complaints.

They did a great job, easy to communicate with, and I'm happy with the work.

Overall I'm very happy with AAESC. They clean my condo twice a month and are very thorough. They arrive on time and get the job done right. I appreciate the little things the cleaning crew does, such as folding the towels "hotel style" or crimping the top sheet of the TP - it's these little touches that get noticed and are appreciated when you come home to a clean house after a long day at work! I have been using their services for about 8 months now and plan to continue them going forward.
