PROGREEN PAINTING

I had hired Michael McGill/ProGreen Painting several years ago to paint the exterior of my house. He did an excellent job and was very professional. I am getting ready to put my house on the market and wanted to paint the interior to get ready for sale. I thought immediately of ProGreen and gave them a call. The interior of my house also needed many small fixes before going to market. In addition to handling all the interior painting, Michael acted as a general contractor, and hired professionals that he trusted to complete the needed repairs in my house. My house is gorgeous now! I am very satisfied with the quality of work and the meticulous attention to details, I don't write reviews often, but here are the reasons that I highly recommend ProGreen Painting: -Responds to calls/emails quickly. -Shows up as promised. (on time too!) -Provides written estimate for jobs, and discusses any changes in the numbers before making changes. -Pricing is very fair. -Excellent workmanship. -Takes the time for consulting, provides professional advice. Does not try to oversell services. -Pays meticulous attention to detail. (After completion, I only had 1 or 2 small items on the punch list, which were taken care of promptly). -Respected my home. Small things like putting up plastic to seal out sheetrock dust, hauling trash away, and wiping down and cleaning dust and construction mess.

What a mistake using them instead of relying on Angie's List Reviews. Went with my gut and that was not a good decision. The single-worst experience I have ever had with a contractor in my 25 years of home ownership. First, they did a crap job of power washing the house to prep for paint (I have a tudor stucco/brick with trim and windows clad in aluminum). My nieghbor witnessed them breeze through the job in less than 30 minutes. Called the owner and showed him all the areas they missed. He apologized profusely and came out to do the prep correctly. In the contract, I specifically stated that the aluminum siding and windows needed to be sprayed. I come home one day to find everything brushed and rolled. I was p*****! Owner apologized and said his crew said they couldn't find an outlet for compressor even though I left the garage door open. It just gets worse from here and the end is they still did not put on the second coat on all of the trimwork. I could continue with 5 or 6 other examples of complete unprofessionalism but I think you get the point. DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!
