+ -1 moreMike Longhi called me the night before and was at my house promptly at the time he forecasted. The effort took about 7 hours. In our instance, we had drawn out a particular way we wanted the new drive way laid out. Due to a grading issue, Mike recommended and alternative plan and the result is spectacular. My wife and I love the job he and his brothers did and would not hesitate hiring him for other projects or referring him with our highest recommendation.
Description of Work: removed old asphalt and expanded the current nasty driveway into a terrific solution for parking.

+ -1 moreThey were very professional and did an awesome drive. They came up with ideas that we hadn't even thought of. They also went above and beyond the scope of the job reseeding the edges of the driveway. Very thorough and professional. Would definitely hire them again.

+ -1 moreMr. Longhi quickly replied to my request for an estimate. He carefully evaluated my driveway, and made suggestions to improve the design. He was always prompt in returning phone calls. He and his crew were on time the day of the appointment. They were polite and professional at all times. They spent a great deal of time redoing the shape of the driveway and improved both the appearance and the grading. The result was an improvement in curb appeal and water drainage. I am very happy with their service.
Description of Work: Replaced an existing asphalt driveway that is y-shaped with an island in the middle of the two entrances.

+ -1 moreCouldn't have gone better. I am extremely particular about everything and I have no complaints. I would definitely use Nick again.
Description of Work: I had a new driveway installed. Nick had to remove bushes near the garage and pavers in my walkway during the widening process as well. They removed 12 inches of soil and layed the driveway. The driveway looks perfect and it has been approximately one year and is still perfect. Nick and his team installed the driveway with care and I would definitely use the company again.

Description of Work: They did an excellent job! Redo of the existing driveway (which was by my estimated 30 years old and barely intact) and widen two over 2 car lengths. Price was very reasonable and they were very professional.

+ -1 moreIt was a terrible job, poor reaaction to my complaints and I have told everybody I know who needs this work to never use Longhi.
Description of Work: They applied a new asphalt driveway to my home. After I paid Nick Longhi promptly (unfortunately) I noticed there were grooves in the pavement along the entire length of the driveway, as well as diferrences in the texture in the asphalt in many spots. I called Nick on 2 separate occasions and he came up. He agreed there were grooves caused by the roller and said he would have the roller come back and smooth the grooves. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. He also said the differences in texture were due to the "company where he obtained the asphalt from." He mentioned Lane Construction. Obviously, as the primary vendor he was ultimately responsible for the entire job, I am very sorry I paid him promptly. I still look at my driveway and regret I ever used LONGHI. I asked him to repave my driveway which he refused to do.

Description of Work: They widened a one car width driveway into a 2 card width. They did a suberb job of leveling it. They also created a slope/incline to help the water run off to the proper spot. They did all of this in a timely manner.
