Rich, from Elite, came the very next day, rook a look at my dryer, and immediately determined that the machine was in fact functioning correctly--it was automatically turning off because it was overheating. The problem was that the dryer vent was completely clogged. Rich gave me the name and number of a pro who could unclog the vent, and he refused to accept any money for his visit and diagnosis. I will definitely call Elite again if I have a problem, and I will recommend Elite--and HomeAdvisor--to my friends.
