I am SO impressed with these two men! They have made reconstruction an art and it has been a joy to watch them turn something old, leaking, out-of-style, and dis-functional into two beautiful rooms. The bathroom had an ancient tub with a ceiling-to-floor leaking wall that contained the piping, in front of a toilet that had a total of 26" of space. The opposite wall had a vanity that was made for elves. In the redesign, Jake and Travis gutted the bathroom, down to the floor base and built a wonderfully bright and efficient bathroom for me. I now have a lovely 60" Kraftmaid vanity, no more leaking wall, or wall at all, and more toilet space. The opposite side of the bathroom has a wonderful 32 x 60" walk-in shower with 95" tall wraparound backing, and a three foot closet from the shower to the outer wall. The floor is tiled with European ceramic tile, and the room is wonderfuto be in and to use. While doing the bathroom, the antiquated kitchen stove and wall oven died at the same time, Both were on a 70" wall, leaving no counter on either side of the appliances. When they gutted the kitchen, we decided to use a vacant 12' wall and in this 12 x 18 kitchen, I have lovely 42," glass doored wall cabinets above drawer bases, and the refrigerator, stove, an dishwasher, all new, are worked into the design nicely. I have a Provence hood over the Whirlpool stove and the refrigerator on the same wall. The opposite wall also has 42," glass door wall units, drawer bases, and a Whirlpool dishwasher. The black Franke sink and bronze accessories are delightful, and the backsplash is tiled on both sides of the kitchen. They have just finished layng a new kitchen subfloor, and 12 x 12 porcelain floor tiles. The joy of the project has been given to me by these two craftsmen, who are talented, professional, timely, and unbelievably neat, considering the chaos of renovating two rooms while I still lived there. Jake and Travis work like an old, married couple :>): one knows what the other needs without asking and their teamwork and exactness are remarkable. They take no short cuts, their work is beyond reproach, and they are good humored, to boot. One even vacuums as the other saws and creates sawdust. They are amazing! I would recommend these two craftsmen without hesitation, and wish I had another project for them to do for me--I am working on that! :>). I am thrilled with their work and feel that they are superb contractors, as well as now, good friends. The quality of their work and their ability to adapt to unforeseen problems is excellent.
