$25 for a measurement seems rather silly if you want to earn someone's business, I understand that sometimes someone may have a business come and measure so they can order from someone else.. But I didn't even receive the measurements on the estimate.. Just received a really messy estimate with no follow up after it was sent. Also they have VERY high prices.

Have used this place in the past as well. Great selection, genuinely helpful people in store each time we go, and worked with is to create exactly what we needed for a custom shaped carpet for our daughters bathroom. Would definitely go again!

It was a year or more ago, they were on time and on price.

It went very well. They have their own installers, who did an excellent job without scratching the paint on the wall. The carpet is still holding up well after 3 years.

The material came in a half day late but that was the distributor's problem. Carpet One helped in selecting the best flooring for the basement room and explained the advantages and disadvantages of each type of flooring. One thing that was not mentioned was the possible need for quarter-round molding to hide the crack between the existing baseboard and the new floor. We had carpeting there before. The installer did the installation of the quarter-round.

Post Road Carpet One of Acton is extremely professional. I walked into their showroom to get an estimate on some carpeting for my home. I am a huge believer in trying to use local vendors vs. chains whenever possible. The staff person was knowledgeable, extremely friendly and patient. She gave me an estimate and followed up via phone to see if I had questions. Unfortunately the carpet pricing quoted was on the high side for our budget and we used another vendor, however would definitely consider them in the future.

Process went very well. Knowledgable, helpful, good price.

Their carpet looks good and I am happy with their work.

Salesman promised that the rugs wouldn't curl up, but that was only true of the largest rug, which was about 8'x12'. The other rugs were hallway-width rugs which wouldn't lay flat. Some of the problems related to the binding which was sewn onsite, and they tried different bindings to help it lay flat, none which worked. A couple of times their worker sewed the binding off the edge of the carpet altogether, exposing raw edges. They didn't offer to pick up or deliver the rugs, and we always initiated the contact to let them know how the latest fix went. We made about 5-6 trips to the store to get the rugs fixed (thankfully we have a pick-up truck), and eventually asked for a refund for the smaller rugs because there was no apparent solution. Salesman was nice and did try to fix the problems by trying different bindings, but I think everyone including us just gave up on this order because this was not the right kind of carpet that should have been cut into smaller sizes. They did give a prompt refund, once I asked for it.

My experience was excellent! I have a lot of furniture and a lot of books. They moved everything around very efficiently. They also did a superb job with the installation.

THEY WERE NOT VERY RESPONSIVE TO SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE INSTALLATION.

GOOD JOB. MADE THE SELECTION EASY. THEY WERE PROMPT.
