New customer-provided mailbox post, mailbox, and plant hanger installed in dirt ground. Removed old post. Prompt, clean, efficient, very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!

I am happy every time I look at my mailbox - it's just beautiful. While it was a relief to get "new mailbox" checked off on my to-do list it's so much better than that. I got the oversized box and the house numbers engraved on the granite post (killing two birds with one stone since my new old house didn't have a house number on it) and it really exceeded my expectations. Mailbox Doctor was a pleasure to work with - fun, friendly and very responsive. I highly recommend them.

Ken was prompt, professional and a pleasure to do business with. Ken dug down a couple of feet and installed a 7 inch granite post. Also attached 2 extra large aluminum mailboxes with house numbers on the boxes. The boxes were attached with one on each side of the post. He uses very good quality materials that look great and should last a long time.

This was one of the easiest contractor experiences I've ever had. I browsed The Mailbox Doctor website to choose a mailbox and post, messaged Ken on Angie's List with the details, and then he said it'd be done within 5-7 days. I didn't even need to be home for it. I ended up being home anyway, so I was able to meet Ken in person. He was very friendly and quick. The new mailbox looks great, and was totally affordable. Highly recommended.

Angie's list has a problem with its system. From my side it appears my submitted review is not completing successfully. This is the third submission. If I not completing this correctly, it is not clear what I am doing wrong.

Very well, except for confusion regarding my address. My address is correct in my profile but the address MailDoctor received was incorrect. That was not his fault. My phone number and email were also correct and were received correctly.

I am very pleased with the new mailbox and granite post. They did an excellent job. I put in a request on the web site to be called and Ken called me back to discuss the details. Ken gave me great advice on the size of the granite post 7x7 since I was going with oversized mailbox. Overall the new mailbox looks really great and I highly recommend Mailbox doctor if you are looking to have a new mailbox installed.

Ken was great! I contacted him via his contact page on the Mailbox Doctor website. He responded promptly and completed the job in a timely and very professional fashion. Ken was fabulous to work with. I highly recommend him.

There was no response to either a phone call or via the "contact us" page of their website.

I sent an initial inquiry via email last October, and he promptly communicated back to me with email. He then followed up with a phone call, showed up to the site and quickly installed a new mailbox post and box for me, just in tome for the winter season. He is very professional, and pleasant to work with. I am completely satisfied with his service.

He removed the old mailbox post and box, he disposed of the old unit as well! He quickly dug the hole larger than the existing one as installed a granite post and put on the support and mailbox. He even thru in the #'s so that emergency services could find the house!

We LOVE our new granite post and mailbox, it's beautiful and adds a great shot of curb appeal! From the very first email, Ken, the owner and installer, was very responsive. It took us a while to determine exactly what we wanted and when we wanted to do the installation because of summer vacations and waiting for other contractors to reply with estimates. However, we finally narrowed it down to Mailbox Doctor because he was the only one who paid attention to exactly what we were asking for and always replied very promptly to our emails. He did make a point, after our first contact with him, to let us know that it is best not to try to communicate through Angie's List as those messages do not always get reliably transmitted. Anyway... when we finally gave Ken the exact specs of what we wanted it was only a matter of 10 days before he was at our home with his crane truck and the engraved granite post and hardware. He showed up on time, did the installation himself and very kindly responded to all my questions during the process. We were relocating the new post a foot or so back from the old post, and he also removed the old post and box, filled the old hole and took it away with him for disposal. It was a very positive experience. He made a point of letting us know he also services everything he sells, so we feel very comfortable knowing if there's ever an issue we can give him a call. But we don't expect there will be any issues, that's why we wanted this particular mailbox set-up, no issues!

That week came and went and no Ken. I called and left a message at the end of the week asking him to return my phone call, and no call came. Bummed, as I had been waiting for him to put in the mailbox so I could do some planting of some bulbs, trying to time it with the season, etc. It's not the end of the world, just disappointing as I was looking forward to giving my money to a local guy, based on the positive reviews. I'm sure if he'd call in a week or two I'd probably happily give him my money, but at least a phone call saying Sorry, turns out I can't get to you until two weeks from now, might have been nice so I could have planned.

Called several times left messages no response

Failure to respond to messages and cell phone calls... Message box full... Non-professionalism for an expensive outlay!!

I never got any response and finnaly got them on the phone and they said just fill out the website form again and hung up. I guess if you do not want to do the job or are to busy they should just say that.

Verry disappointing experience I now have a second rate, improperly constructed mailbox post with a munged, but finally correct color mailbox that has a bent cover. I had to unbend latch and flap handle. The two pieces of the post have a terrinle and ugly fit; there are random pencil marks and superfluous screw holes in/on the stock used. After several delays (vacation, awaiting mailbox shipment- installation of wrong color ) white was "out of stock, will replace it". First complaint by email was responded by "i didn't get the attachment" there was none - I replied, and repeated the complaints; it's been almost 2 more weeks with no response. Ken seems like a nice guy, but since I don't seem to be able to get a response, I feel have to write this reviewMy House

We had him remove the old mailbox and install a new mailbox in a different location. The old mailbox was held down with a big, heavy block of cement which required a lot of digging and hard work to get it out. It was also a very hot day We told him he could leave the cement in the ground but he said that wasn't the right way to do it. He was a true professional. The new mailbox is beautiful!

My old mailbox and post were damaged by the snow plows during our harsh winter. I ordered a new mailbox and granite post from the company's website and the owner, Ken, was prompt in responding to me and scheduling an installation date. They removed the old mailbox and post and installed a very impressive granite post and sturdy mailbox. They even replanted the flower bulbs around the mailbox post. They knew the US Post Office requirements for height and distance from the street so I didn't need to worry that the mailbox would be placed in the wrong location.

Ken was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I was so pleased that I have already recommended him to several people.

I reached out to them and one of their competitors, I spoke to both, they both advised me that I had to do everything threw their website, which was kind of strange considering I was on the phone with them and ready to order. honestly, had I found a company that didn't require me to do everything on their website, I would have used that company. It must be an industry thing, if I had the time I'd open up a mailbox repair company and dominate that industry, by just talking to prospective leads. I went on their site and made my order, they emailed me to confirm and I made some changes, they made the order. I got a call from my wife about 10 days later saying they were at my house. She said the guy who did the work, she believed to be the owner was extremely nice and very polite to her. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the mailbox and post. I think it came out amazing. I said to my wife, we have the nicest mailbox in the whole neighborhood, the neighbors are all going to be jealous. haha I would 100% recommend this company, I just wished it was easier to do the order process, other than that I give them a 10 out of a 10.
