Jim, who came to give us a quote, was both punctual and professional. The estimated total number of required hours to complete the entire job was on the high side. The moving team (Tyler and Alex plus one) arrived both days on time ready to go. Throughout the move, they were courteous, professional and extremely efficient. Because of this, the total time taken ended up being less than the original estimate. We are very pleased with the overall experience and would definitely hire them again.

I was waiting there for a half an hour and they did not show up, they did not give me any reason. They were a half an hour late, and they did not explain. They said that was normal, that is it. When they count the time they count with the starting time where I reserved it in. The guys are nice and they moved the stuff. After that I could not find some screws in a bag they moved. I think as a professional they should be able to fix the screws. Now a few pieces of my furniture can not be put back because something is missing. I do not think they took it away it is just in a place where it shouldn't be. I could not find them.

It was okay. It was just fine. I used them 2 times. The first time I was quite satisfied. The second time it was okay. They just moved things around the house. They were on time, and they worked very time efficient.

It wasn’t as good as I would have liked. They came, but didn’t take half of our stuff. I’m not quite sure why. My husband was there when they were moving us and so forth. So, I had to hire someone else to finish the job. The price was comparable with other people.

They showed up fast and moved the dressers in with zero issues.

The 3-person crew was professional throughout, arriving on time and handling all of our belongs with care.

He was professional. His price was reasonable given the number of stops and the number of boxes he had to move. Everything was very coordinated. He was recommended to us by a friend.

First Jim came over to our apartment and storage unit to see exactly what would be moved. He then sent us a quote. On the day of the move, a crew of 4 showed up on time. In addition to the truck we were expecting they brought a smaller truck along just in case they needed more room. They worked hard and did not take a break until the trucks were fully loaded. They then drove from Waltham to Holliston and unloaded both trucks. They were very nice and made sure every box and piece of furniture was delivered to the right room in our new house. They did not break anything or cause any damage in the house. They worked for 8.5 hours. They worked for longer then what the estimate had banked for as we asked them to move more boxes then originally planned. The final price was within 5% of the estimate. We would use them again any day.

Palmer moved the contents of my 2-bedroom 2nd floor apartment to a 2-bedroom house across town. I had boxed everything myself. The initial estimate was high (~$900) but the move took two hours less than their estimate and the final cost was $667 (including tips for the two movers).

They were not the lowest estimate but they made me very comfortable that they could handle our move and my stress. They sure did!

They were right on time, worked efficiently even though they were being paid by the hour, and were extremely helpful to me. Nice people, I'd definitely use them again.

The overall move was extremely efficient. They were prompt, even early, on the morning of delivery and wasted very little time in moving all of our belongings into the house and setting up furniture. Mostly there were minor annoyances, when furniture was not set up entirely correctly (frame of the king bed was not bolted back together. The stairs from the kids' bunk beds were not attached). A number of instances where pictures arrived damaged or completely broken and some items in boxes which were damaged. Despite the items noted, the process was efficient and timely. The moving team was careful in moving items in, and checking it there were any questions regarding where something should be put.

5 men arrived . Disassembled desks or other items as needed. Moved our furniture and items from 3rd to 1st floor using elevator. Helped us reset up the furniture. Left.

Very responsive early on, actually visited my parents' home to give an accurate estimate. Day of move went very smoothly and actual cost was less than estimate. I would definitely recommend them!

A gentleman from the company came out and surveyed our home, however we never recieved an estimate and had no response to phone calls. We went with another company.

John Palmer moving was very responsive from the start. The estimate process was very smooth, and my wife felt very comfortable asking questions, and was given good tips on packing and moving. On the day of the job, the 4 man team arrived on time. They dealt with some unexpected, as well as expected, wrinkles with no problem, and finished the first day ahead of schedule. They took good care of our former home. On the move in, they again took good care of our home. Our packed items came through the move without issue, and everything went where it was supposed to. The final price was well below what the estimate was. If we ever move again (and darnit, I hope we do not), we'd use them again without looking for another quote.

We agreed on the price, after they charged me they decided it wasn't enough and charged an additional $600. I thought the move was not handled very professionally. The crew fought amongst themselves throughout the process. I paid for a lot of packing as I assumed they would pack it better than I would. That was not the case. They moved many books that were carelessly handled and incurred damage to spines and pages. I complained after the fact, and contested the extra charges. They said it was a billing error to begin with and that the second amount was in fact the amount I owed. The initial quote sounded good but when compared to the service I got they were not very good at all.

Excellent. Two movers came within 3 days of my call. They went above and beyond what I asked for, yet gave me the flat rate I was originally quoted, even after I pointed out the extra work. They were courteous, professional and put everything back as needed. They did everything with one hour, which was far less time than I had imagined.

Arrived on the minute. The workers were excellent and exceptionally helpful. They were able to adjust to somewhat difficult circumstances because new unit was in building where construction was not completed. Because of tight time constraints, extra personnel were sent to ensure that job was completed within the required time frame. The cost seemed low to me.
