+ -1 moreFirst Rugs is great. Very professional. They looked at my rug and advised me on cleaning and a small repair. The prices are reasonable and my rug looked beautiful after the cleaning/repair. It was a happy surprise to see that they have a huge collection wonderful rugs - antiques to new! Thanks First Rugs - I'll be back.

Description of Work: We had a small heirloom hand woven wool rug cleaned by First Rugs. We used them because they specialized in persian/wool rug sales and cleaning and they are nearby our home. The cleaning went well, the colors came back much brighter. There were a couple of tiny stains that did not get removed but that's because they didn't want to risk damaging. Not a big deal but I was happy.

+ -1 moreCynthia First is the owner of First Oriental Rugs. Her customer service is over and above anything that I have ever experienced. She worked with me for more than 9 months to find just the perfect rug. I was such a rug novice that she had to put up with a lot of false starts covering all styles of rugs. Cynthia even came to my home - which is over an hour from her store to help me with color and design and several occasions. She had some excellent insights and I would highly recommend using Cynthia at this store or her one at 301 Newbury Street in Danvers, MA. I had tried several rug stores throughout Rhode Island (where I live) and she is the BEST!
