Description of Work: We bought a new dryer from them. When they came to deliver the new dryer it didn't fit, no fault of theirs, they went back to the shop and brought us out a dryer that did fit all with in 2 hours of buying the dryer.

Description of Work: One of the elements was burned out in my oven. I called and got a service scheduled for the next day. They took my range information so they would be prepared w/ a part.

+ -1 moreI called Abington Appliance in a panic to fix my stove. I had another company out the week before to fix my oven, they gave me a price, when i asked them to break down how much the part was and how much labor was they told me "we dont do it that way it is one set price" This didnt settle well with me so I called Abington Appliance and they came to my rescue! I told them what i needed for a part, they ordered it right away for a very reasonable price ($30.00), As soon as the part was in a tech came out to the home. He actually was able to come earlier then expected and called to see if he could start early, i was psyched. Dave the tech was so nice, he fixed the oven in a flash and even leveled out my dishwasher while he was here. So personable and knew what he was doing. I paid 79.95 for the service call and 20.00 for a half hours worth of work. I will not call anyone else to fix my appliances. So worth it.

+ -1 moreexcellent. see above. the cost for the technician to come to the home was $86.00~flat fee. after that it is $80.00hr, and prorated so that if he works for 15 minutes, it is $20.00; if he works for 1/2 hr, it is $40.00. Parts are additional charges.
Description of Work: we had a broken washer and dryer both of which were 3 years old. whirlpools. the dryer had a broken belt and couldn't 'tuble' and had come through manufacturing with an 'inferior' part, which was replaced with a 'better part, a new new belt. the washing machine needed either a clutch, or a transmission. luckily for us, it was a clutch. the machine was taken apart, the new clutch put in, and the work completed. both pieces are like new. balanced so there is no rumbling when they tumble, broken parts taken with the technician (at our request), and service complete. saved us much money for we didn't have to purchase a new washer/dryer.

+ -1 moreI love Abington Appliance. I've purchased a number of appliances from them and they've always been good. The installation for these two appliances went very smoothly. The worker put the dishwasher in and did extra work to fit it into my cabinetry correctly. He didn't have to do that so I really appreciated the extra work. He also moved my old appliances down to my basement for me. They do the little things and it makes a big difference.
Description of Work: I bought my refrigerator and stove from Abington Appliance.
