FIRST IN COUNTERS

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly but in the end their prices were higher than others I had found.

They were a sub of another contractor. After repeated delays of over a month, the installed the granite and sent a couple guys that did not know much about installing granite. I understood that and was ok as long as they would fix the mistakes. The mistakes were that they cut the granite too short. Simple enough right....Wrong! They came out and said they would have to make a new corner pc of granite. They removed the short portion and then cracked the other piece that I had. They said they would make me two out of the three pieces and come back to install. They removed the old granite, scratched my special order $1000 sink also. They called the contractor the next day and said they would be turning the job down and would not come back. After waiting for a month, they knew they would be out of pocket of more money because of the granite they had to buy. I asked for my sink back and it showed up on my door step the next day. I will never ever use these people again or have a contractor mention their name. I had to go another two week to get a new contractor to make and install new granite. I really don't know how they are in business. They did show up on the day they said they would though. Like that mattered.

Everybody was very nice, but there was a lot in the delivery of services to be desired. Even though a laser was used to measure the kitchen for our granite counter tops, the counter is not flush with the wall. In fact there is still a huge gap. With the installation of the backsplash, not enough tile was order so the job was not finished to my satisfaction. Also, the company never informed me that they subcontract their tile people. I was at home with a sick child and did not realize someone outside the company was coming.

Overall, this was a quality job done on time at a reasonable price.

Their expertise and patience in helping make selections from among their selection was very useful. And their expertise in determining the best place for seaming and making those seams invisible was impressive. I can not recall exactly the cost; however their costs were not the lowest available, but were sufficiently competitive to make using this local family-owned business viable.
