It went pretty good with D & A Energy Solutions. I was pleased with it but they couldn't really do totally what I wanted done but it wasn't their fault, it was just the house, they couldn't get under it because the house was too close to the house. It took a little while but it was the weather so they can't put that stuff in there I think below 50 degrees. The first weekend they tried to do it but it took them a couple of times out to get it done but that really wasn't their fault. I thought the price was fair. I hadn't really shop with other people but I'm okay with the price. As far as I know, the quality is pretty good but I haven't gone underneath. I'd recommend them.

The provider came out and gave an estimate of the cost of the job. In a very detailed way he explained the materials that were being used (type of insulation) and the entire procedure. He briefed me on the estimated time of completion. Alan explained the different types of turbine vents and helped me to make the best choice for my home. The job was started and completed within the time frame given. I was very pleased with this service and I would recommend this company to anyone.

Alan was very helpful. Even stayed and help me decide on which to get to help make my house more energy efficient. My electric bills showed a reduction within the first two months, can't wait till summer to see even more impact.

D & A Energy Solutions did a great job, from my initial contact to completion of job I was well satisfied. Allan came to look at the job the same day that I contacted him, he assessed my attic insulation and ventilation and made recommendations that would bring it up to a R49 value. He had the best price by far and was awarded the job. He and his crew arrived promptly on the appointed day and worked without interruption till completion. They did a really good job and I am completely satisfied.

A top- notch experience! I was pretty sure that my garden home had no insulation in the entire length of a west facing (!) wall. I called Alan, and he was near enough that he came by within 15 minutes to give me an estimate; what he showed me was astounding. I was right: not one bit of insulation! The summer afternoon temp in my master bath was almost 90 degrees.I was fully prepared for a expensive experience, but the price he quoted me was also a pleasant surprise. We made an appointment for Monday, 6/10. They showed up (pretty much) on time, did the job of blowing insulation into the wall and attic, and left no evidence of having had to drag this giant hose through my house. The difference was dramatic. Pleasant people, efficient job. Couldn't be more pleased!

They did some work for me. They are nice people, but they were not very punctual. They finally got it all done and I'm pleased with the work. The price was very reasonable. I only spoke with them on the phone and my contractor dealt with them in person.

Good! I made a couple of special requests and they compiled without complaint. They took photos of depth gages they placed showing that the insulation was in place, also provided depth=bags/sqft calculations that matched results. I counted the bags. They put it all in. The price was the lowest of three bids.

The process went well. We are hoping to see our energy bill go down next month.

Overall I could not be happier with the job that Alan did and feel very fortunate to have found D & A Energy Solutions through Angie's List.

They were very reasonable and very professional. They even cleaned up after themselves which doesn't always happen with contractors. They were great!

Alan was very flexible and easy to deal with. He's very knowledgeable in many areas of home building and patiently answered my questions that included much more than spray foam. I plan to add insulation in my home attic as well as solar. He spent a lot of time offering suggestions and explaining in detail his reasoning for each. Concerning the spray foam insulation, I have a hobby building that was initially insulated with reflective bubble wrap. With time (9 years), it became very dry and flaky and broke off in huge sections. I tried to tape it back up but because it flaked so much the tape fell off after a few weeks. I considered replacing it with spray foam insulation but was concerned about its effect on the environment and my health. After searching the internet and relying on Alan's expertise, I became pretty convinced that once dried, it was relatively safe. Compared to the bubble wrap, it was also a more permanent solution. Alan also offered that spraying a depth of 2" would add solidity to the structure. Initially, he estimated that it would take 1 day to complete but the spray gun didn't cooperate so he had to come back a second time. On both days, he showed up when promised. Spray foam is sticky and messy and he had a lot of cleanup. There were sections that I told him not to worry about that I now wish I had him remove (top of framing) but I've been able to work around it. Overall, I had a very good experience with D & A; Alan specifically. In the future, I plan to add more insulation to my attic and get my air ducts cleaned...I will call D & A to do the job.
