Precision Glass Inc

I am a "seasoned" glass table top purchaser. I just purchased a desk and two consoles with hutches, which needed table tops to keep objects from gouging the top wood. I needed three pieces of table top glass (1/4"). Precision Glass quoted a $25.00 fee for hand polishing per piece. The large piece was quoted a total price of $151.00. Two smaller pieces, 15"x36" with 2 notches each, hand polished, was also ordered. Upon delivery, the charge for the large one was $162.18 ( more than was quoted) and the two smaller glass pieces were $132.00 each. The price for the large one was more than quoted, but not too over. I was OK with that price. However, this is where the good feeling ended. Upon delivery, the prices for the smaller ones cost twice as much as expected (almost as expensive as the large 36x72 size). The technician who delivered said we paid a charge of $15.00 for each notch (not told beforehand), which were not done on two corners very well, and $35.00 each for hand polishing, not $25.00 as was quoted. I have never felt more "enraged" at any company in my 60 years of living than I am with Precision Glass. I do not trust them to do their customers right; I will not use them again nor will I refer them to my friends and family.
