Nick's Fencing and Tile Work

This provider contacted me very quickly after my initial search for providers on Angie's list. Because of his rating on this website, I asked that he come out and give us a price for the work to be done, which he did within a couple days. I advised I would call him to set a date for the work. I purchased the tiles and mortar. He advised the work would take one day and he would arrive at 8am on Wed, 8/8/18. He showed up after 9am not having called to say he was running late. He worked until approx 1pm and said he would come back the following morning at 8:30am to finish. He came in the second morning at 9am and just walked into our home without knocking. He had little to no regard for cleanliness. He tracked dirt, mortar and water into the kitchen where he was working. He had NO attention to detail as my photos will show. The mortar is showing through the grout, see attached photo. The tiles are cut unevenly, see photo. The work was poor and sloppy. There is a residue on my quartz countertops which I hope can be cleaned. After wiping down several times, the residue is still there, see photo. My husband asked him to clean up the floor area where this provider tracked in grout and mortar residue. He passed a sponge over the area and said he was done. My husband then had to mop three times to get all the residue removed. Our electrical outlets are full of grout and will have to be replaced, see photo. In addition, the outlets are not sitting flush with the tile and we are not sure if that problem can be resolved. In summary, this provider had very poor workmanship and I would not recommend him to install tile in your home.
