Came to give me an estimate on a 450 sq ft concrete extension for my back porch. Very nice guy, but showed up without a tape measure...red flag. He then used MY tape measure to get the dimensions. He forgot the tape measure was on his belt and left after the estimate. I've been trying to get my tape back for weeks/months now. The estimate was more than double the price of the guy I used and he didn't listen to what I wanted. He said that I'd have to rip up all my existing concrete, blah blah blah, which I didn't have to do at all. Would not recommended this contractor.
Description of Work: Used my tape measure, never returned it.

Response from Bailand Construction LLC
when a customer asks my opinion about how something should be done I give them an honest answer, if they want to add new concrete to existing concrete which may not have the appropriate slope or elevation I would recommend replacing it. If the company who did the job did it differently than I would have done it then naturally it would cost less. As for the tape measure, I did borrow one since someone took one out of my truck and didn't realize it until I got there. I completely forgot about it until I read this review. I will return it (or the value of it) as soon as I find Mr [Member Name Removed] address and I apologize for any inconvenience concerning the tape.

Went very well. He guarantees his work. He is very pleasant to do business with and does what he says he will do. Would recommend him.
Description of Work: poured a concerete slab to extend my patio area. Brian cleared grass out and formed the frame then had the concrete poured.
