Malcolm and his crew were professional and did a great job. He actually came back to finish a small portion of the job (I have learned most don't, sadly). He is honest, helpful and diligent. You just don't find this very often. I love my windows, my shutters look fabulous; I've gotten messages left in my mailbox asking me where I got them. We're planning to use him again this year and look forward to it.

The installation went very well, so much so, I hired Malcolm to come back to install shutters. Malcolm is honest and straight up. He works hard. I cannot tell you how many times I have had things done only to have the job done half way, the material substandard, etc. It has been a long time since I have found someone like Malcolm and his crew. I would definitely hire him again. This service was done a little over a year ago. I like to wait to review to make sure of the project. Thank you, Malcolm.

Malcolm and his crew did a great job. They were on time every single day. Very solid tile work. Malcolm was always reachable when I had a question.

He's been golden. He's been a big help to us. In fact, I still need him to come in and do a little bit of work before the plumber can get in here. He has done 2 major projects for us. He has been reasonably priced. He's nice to work with and he's had good ideas and suggestions. The kitchen was around 25 grand and the exterior was around 25 grand. I thought the price was very reasonable. We've already talked to him about another project.

Just fine

I've been looking forward to writing this review since I got the bid back from Zeringue's this past summer. First of all, Z's wasn't the first contractor I contacted. The other six or so either never showed up, declined the work, bid way too high, or just never sent me an estimate of what I wanted done and what needed to be done. Malcolm Zeringue showed up and e-mailed me a detailed PDF and list of questions early the following day. The estimate was clear and surprisingly fair. I met him soon after with a team of subs-contractors, and they began work. What I loved was Z's conscientiousness. Malcolm and his team do not cut corners. They spend the time to get things done right so I won't have problems down the road. They communicate well and often. Throughout, I received photos of finished projects and photos of potential problems. Malcolm new I was on a budget and worked with me on everything. If they ran into uglieness (rotten wood, termite damage, leaks), and one aspect of the job was going to cost more than expected, he tried to balance that out with parts of the overall job that could be less expensive than originally expected. My once dumpy property is now spectacular. Working with Zeringue's was memorable, delightful, exciting, and I'm looking forward to doing more improvements to the property with them.

He came out at the scheduled time and looked at what we wanted. he did point out some possible problems in what we wanted, but did say he would call us back. After about a week, he did call back and left a message that he had some more questions. As we weren't sure what we wanted to do at that time, we didn't return his call. We decided to take a different direction on what we are going to do and didn't require their services.

We removed part of a wall by an enclosed stairwell to open up our floor plan. My husband patched remaining walls with sheetrock and let's just say hubby is great at a lot of things; sheetrock work ain't one of them (love you baby!). So I called in a professional to finish the work. Malcolm contacted me quickly to set an appointment and followed-up to confirm the appointment the day before. He arrived right on time and had everything he might need to work on the house - a very professional setup. He was courteous and did an amazing job of keeping things clean and tidy while he worked. I highly recommend Zeringue's Construction and Remodeling. My project was a small one but I would feel totally confident hiring Malcolm and his team for any renovations or remodeling around my home. I'm already talking to him about a couple other projects.

The provider came out to provide an estimate for me to see all the work I needed to have done. The provider did bring an electrical with him, but I already knew that I would need someone who was knowledgeable with electrical work as I have an old home. I have decided to cancel the deal and go with another provider who is also knowledgeable with electrical work. He was wonderful when he came out and very professional. I will probably end up using him on a different job in the future when electrical work is not needed.

Malcolm the magnificent!! I can't say enough how amazing he was throughout our home renovation project. He is knowledgeable, prompt, and fair. He takes pride in his work and doesn't cut corners. Your home is his priority during your project, he doesn't juggle multiple projects at a time. I will never use another contractor. I highly recommend him.

Excellent. Malcolm was very easy to work with. He came over first to run through our list and take photos, he offered thoughtful suggestions, carefully considered all the options, called on the weekend to confirm the supplies he was buying, and showed up at 8am on Monday. Both Malcolm and his coworker were very hard working, communicative, and took pride in the quality of their work. They put in 10 hour days and took the time to explain the state of things at the end of the day. Our job ended up taking longer than 40 hours - they stayed an extra day to get it done and we paid the for the extra hours and the materials. I would highly recommend and we already have plans to have them back for more work.

Mr. Zeringue first arrived to provide me with an at home free estimate, just as advertised. He was dressed professionally and was very thorough and well spoken. I immediately felt comfortable with the knowledge he had about my project. After discussing what would take place during construction we set a date to start within two days!! During construction Mr. Zeringue and his helpers were prompt, worked quickly and efficiently, and most of all they were very clean. I mean to tell you spotless!! If my husband or I had any questions regarding the who's and how's of the project he was eager to explain. All in all, I will recommend Zeringue's Construction to anyone who is looking for a job well done. And I will be calling for any new projects that we may have.
