Elite Roofing

Ramon Fernandez is the person my husband dealt with. The credentials he provided was Elite Renovations LLC 366 Azalea Dr. Westwego, LA 70094. 504-320-9103. Initially he was average with responding and he talked a good game. He left about a 15 feet opening and did not install the gate per the contract description. There was supposed to be a rod installed to keep the gate closed correctly. He was referred to us by another contractor that we had used for roofing. We had to go through that contractor to get in touch with him. He said he would come finish that next day and he did not. We called him again and he said he would come this past Sunday 5/24/20, he did not show up or call. At this point we will not call him again we have proceeded with filing charges to take him to court. He was paid in full. My husband accepts his error in taking his word that he had completed the job and paid him in full. We purchased the materials $1600 and then in turn had to purchase additional materials because he did not take good measurements and he was paid $2000 for labor. Do not hire this company. Work done was average and he left part of the job undone. He did not remove the trash.

The company was a complete nightmare. Floors not leveled , grout missing, holes left in sheetrock, arguing between employee's and they wanted their money in full before completion . They also would ask for cash advances $20 and $40 a week. I even had to escort one employee out my home and was prohibited from coming back. Ramon also goes my the company name, Big Easy Flooring, Elite Home Improvements & Renovations. Yes, they got us good $ 4,000.00 +. Yes I do have pictures !

Caution don' t hire this so call company.The owner Ramon F. also goes by the company name's Elite Home Improvements & Renovations LLC. and Big Easy . We found him on Craigslist under the name, Big Easy Flooring. After giving him $2,000.00 down for a $ 4,000.00 flooring job the nightmare began as follows, 1. Took 14 days longer to complete than promised. 2. First week only worked a few hours a day. Requested cash advances before job was completed. 3. Used two different grout colors. Good bite of floor lippage. Damaged our new Pavers from cutting porcelain and mixing Mortar on our patio. Wanted remainder of money ($2,000.00) one day before completion of job. Lelf our home a mess with motar on the Base Boards and two med. size holes in our sheet rock. I also had to kick one of the workers out my house and asked him to never come back. The list goes on, I just hope I have helped someone before hiring Mr. Ramon and his crew. Thanks

Ramon Fernandez (owner) told me twice (the 2nd time in an indignant manner as if I was insulting him by asking him again) that he'd come back an pressure wash the patio and driveway that his very sloppy workers had stained and somehow gotten tar on. It had just been pressure washed prior to his work because we are selling the house. His crew had one of the trashiest job sites I've seen (and go to job sites for my job). He didn't pressure wash, left trash everywhere, and nails everywhere in the grass. And it wasn't limited to our house. The neighbor's yard was just as bad. His cost was much higher than his bid. Unbelievably, I had to point out some of the most blatant poor workmanship (posts extending far above fence boards, and hinges sticking way out past post - becoming liability issues). Don't use this guy.
