This experience with a business was by far the worst! The service rep arrived and contacted me promptly. I asked the guy how does the diagnosis process worked and what would it cost for him to come out. He explained it would be $50 to diagnose the issue then whatever amount depending on what was malfunction was. When he got to my house he was polite and professional. He went up and started to assess the problem. My unit had froze up. He was going to get the ice off so I ran to the store. My mom stayed back at the house with him as he proceeded to fix the issue. I told him to call me with the numbers before he fixes the issue. While I was out I got a call from him stating it would be 500 to fix which at this time I explained I was not able to pay that and that I would just like to pay the $50 and he could move to his next project. At this time he started to get upset telling me this was bad business and why I called him if I knew I couldnâ t afford the work, and how much money he was loosing bc I had chosen not to do repairs. This was not the worst part, I again thanked him for his services and told him I would pay the diagnosis fee but that was all. After disconnecting the call, he went back into our attic with the unit and unplugged the unit and left everything open and completely down. He then told my mom that they will be calling me back. I was due to have over 50 people at my home this day and he intentionally tried to make my ac issue worse by unplugging the unit and completely dismantling all the electrical tied to the unit out of spite. Prior to him touching the unit it was running just not pushing out air, he intently killed the unit because he was upset. I would not recommend this company as this was super unprofessional. I asked the right questions upfront but he did not deliver and automatically expected me to pay for repairs before telling me what it would cost. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY-very poor experience. What repair company comes in and makes your issue worse bc you decide not to go with their business. Very POOR POOR business acumen.

Great people work was done fast and precise

Had to call 2nd time cause problem was not fixed. As of 9.29.19 the ceiling has not clasped. They are a bit pricey.

I would try them again. I only had 2 concerns. 1) Another project jumped ahead of my scheduled time frame. I was not called. After 30 minutes late I contacted them resulting in a later same day arrival. 2) I was quoted a price to unclog an AC drain. The pipe had to be cut and blown through the cut. It took an additional one minute of work and it cost me an additional $25. I paid without question. As a businessman myself, I would have either not charged the extra $25 or reduced it because the original schedule was disregarded without calling the customer. Update: 09/18/2020 Jonathan made good on his promises.

They come on time and did a great job. They also found potential problem and fixed it. Highly recommend their professional services!

We called on a Saturday when we experienced some intermittent AC issues. Johnathan called and came out right away. The AC started working again but the problem still persisted and we knew it was time to replace the over 15 year old unit. Johnathan came out the day we were ready within the same week. He replaced the outside and upstairs unit for a very reasonable price. He cleaned up throughly before he left and the house was at a cool 69 degrees when we got home that evening. We highly recommended Johnathan with Affordable AC and Heating.

Affordable AC got my AC back up and running quickly - or so I thought when they left. I left and went to work after they were finished. When I came home that evening, the house was 89 degrees inside. They forgot to flip the breaker for the unit back to the position so the fan was blowing, but not cold. While in my house, the assistant spilled Coke on my carpet. He cleaned it up with my towels, but the carpet was still sticky. They used my hose to wash off the back of the unit in the yard, and left the hose strung across the lawn. While the work they did was adequate, I was somewhat disappointed with the professionalism.

Johnathan was very knowledgeable and had all the necessary parts on hand. His work and manner was great too. I would recommend him for his services and plan to have him be our regular a/c service person for now on if possbile.

Company was unable to solve my issue and stiffed me with a bill.

Technician came out on a weekend. He fixed the problem and gave me helpful hints to prevent the problem

Johnathan is well-experienced! I called him to fix the AC, and he came the same day. He repaired the AC unit efficiently. His rates are very affordable, and he is trustworthy. I highly recommend his services. I will definitely be calling him for any future AC services.

I gave this guy a good review yesterday because the ac got back to working and he seemed straight forward. Woke up with it not working and called him immediately. He answered and told me it most likely needed another breaker. Told me take a picture and send to him. I did.He texted back ok and said he would be over after a condenser job. 3 hours later I texted him an ETA for me. Not unreasonable. No response. Waited about an hour and called, no answer. Just the standard will call back from smart phone. Waited an hour still no call so I texted again that I was getting concerned about not having an ETA and what was up basically. It has been 2 hours now and Still no response. I feel like I got scammed out of about 550 bucks. I m single and a teacher and not young anymore with health issues that get worse in hot weather and definitely need that money. Could have gotten another ac tech over here the 8 hours ago that I originally called. Will not use him even if he calls back not a good business practice to ghost a customer. Will never use Angie s List or Home Advisor again. Should have gone with my gut and waited for my friend s recommendation who is scheduled for Monday 8 am. Just have to weather 2 really hot days, hopefully, in New Orleans in August with dogs not pleasant.

$179 for coming. Ready to come out and help within a couple of hrs even on a 4th of July! ;) OK. 5 stars for that! Told me system had a leak which I already knew. Immediate fix was adding freon and coming another day to pin point the leak. :( It was 88F inside and had friends visiting so I had no choice. My upstairs unit needed 9 lbs of freon so x $55/lb =$495 Total =$674...ouch!

Very prompt to come within a couple of hours especially on a 4th of July! 5 stars for that! ;) Obviously my unit has a leak. Quick fix is add freon but no diagnosis on where the leak was. $179 for the visit ok due holiday but $90/lb of freon will hit you hard especially if you have a big unit. Unfortunately just a temporary fix since the leak was not fixed...so 3 stars for that!
