The windows were all done well, i dont have any complaints about them but the other work was sub-standard, he was late most mornings and he took 5 days instead of the 3 he said it would At the end of the job he never did install one of the doors and never did the opening in the wall. He was supposed to be back in a week or so but never came back. He claimed to have health problems during the job and was supposed to return to finish the rest of the work but two months later i have been unable to get him back to finish his work. He was also supposed to insulate the outlet covers and didnt do that. He asked for a partial payment when the windows were ordered, which i understand. He also asked for a payment after the first day which was not part of the deal but i paid him anyway. They only worked 2 hours the next day. At the end of the week he asked for payment for the other things he had done so i paid him and havent seen him since. The work on the doors was not done very well, i had to go behind him and re-nail the facial on the doors because it was about to come off. On one of the deadbolts they installed, they stripped one of the 2 screws that holds it together and it wouldnt work. I had to find this out on my own later. Hindsight says i shouldnt have paid until the job was complete. He put a testimonial on his website praising himself saying the job was done throughly and in 3 days and put my name on it which i didnt consent to. If you hire him do it with caution and do not pay until final completion. I will reitterate that he did do a good job on the windows so i am not trying to put the guy out of business but rather inform people of how he operates.
