+ -1 moreProgressive Waste took over from Tchefuncte Disposal, who used to provide excellent service. But now I have to call Progressive every week because they missed a pickup - AGAIN! They do respond quickly, and often make follow-up calls to check that garbage was picked up, BUT, I call them every week. I am looking for another company!

+ -1 moreAfter I signed the new contract there was some confusion as to billing and it was frustrating to have to call each month and correct their mistakes. I finally talked with the manager, Mr. Shane Morel, who drove to my house to straighten out the mess in person. I am now paying $48.00 for once a week pick up, with no fees and no increases as part of my contract. I am a happy customer now.
Description of Work: This co bought out my previous provider. City of New Orleans forces all apt houses over 4 units to go with private companies rather than city services. My previous co SDT Waste charged $48.41 for twice a week pick up of 3 cans. When Progressive Waste took over, the price started creeping up to $66.44 in Dec. of 2012. I decided to look for another provider. Turned out the co. I contacted had been bought out by Progressive Waste as well. I was however able to work out a new contract for the same price but only once a week pick up.
