These guys have always been responsive, hard working, kind & honest with cost. They are my go-to person when something goes wrong with my irrigation system & when my lawn mower has been down. New to Angie’s List, But wanted to say Thank you!

The owner was very professional when he came by to give me a quote and was able to work me into their schedule within a couple of days which was very much needed. The work was completed thoroughly and I am quite pleased with the results. I have used other services before and this price was in line with that experience. I plan to use them at this site until I sell it and then move them to my new home.

Over the years, the condition of our one acre yard had become more of less a jungle of untrimmed bushes and trees. In the past, I had enjoyed yard work, but health issues had reduced my ability to do much except cut the grass with a riding mower, and even that had become a chore. We had a flyer from Tender Care Lawn Service in Sulphur, Louisiana, and after calling them, Percy LaPoint came to see us the next day. We were very impressed with his review of his lawn service, and we made a tour of the yard explaining what we would like to have done. He made note of all the items, took pictures, and the next day gave us a bid of $645. We called back, excepting the bid, and the very next morning Percy had several trucks loaded with lawn equipment and a crew of men in our drive. I appreciate good tools, and all his equipment was in A-1 shape, and his people knew how to use them. Piles of limbs that had been in the yard for years were picked up to be hauled away, bushes and trees were trimmed, much better than I had ever taken the time to do. His mowers mulched the leaves in the yard, (we like to mulch rather than burn), and all the areas around the house, trees and yard were blown clean. My wife and I were very, very happy with the clean-up of the yard, and we made plans to have them continue taking care of the yard every two weeks! Several of the neighbors said how good the yard looked, and expressed an interest in their service. We enjoyed talking with Percy, and feel that he has a personal interest in us and his other customers to make sure we are happy with his lawn service's work.

There was a one inch limb on the ground and said they weren't going to move it and mowed around it. I texted explaining my concern with the quality of the work and he texted me back using profanity saying that he would charge extra to move it.

Percy and his father have been caring for my lawn for almost 4 years now. They are dependable, trustworthy and efficient, besides being two of the nicest people you will ever want to meet. You literally will fall in love with them as well as their work, as has everyone that I have recommended them too. They are very accommodating... My 9 yr old granddaughter informed me, a couple of days after they had mowed, that she wanted to have her birthday party at my house in the yard the following weekend. I asked them if it rained and the grass decided to grow faster than normal and I needed my lawn mowed again before I was scheduled, would they be able to fit me in their schedule, they said not a problem, just to give them a couple of days notice n they would make it happen. I highly recommend them!!!!

These guys are very professional. They are in and out before you even know they are there. Everytime they come they make sure we are satisfied and they won't stop till the yard looks better than the last time! I will always use these guys for any outside work! They provide great customer service and I'm very happy with my irrigation system.

The work was done for my elderly mother. A couple weeks ago Percy visited my mother and discussed what needed to be done. Then he spent a little time just chatting with my mom, laughing and cutting up. This made my mom feel comfortable with him. She described him as a sweet man, very Christian, very polite and courteous. 2 men from the company did the work at Mom's house. She felt so comfortable with them there, that she left to run errands. When I talked to her later that afternoon she bragged non-stop about the 2 men and how professional they were in their attitude and in their work ethics. She was extremely pleased and wants to hire them on a regular monthly basis to maintain her yard - which is chock full of pine trees and shrubbery. This was my first exposure to using Angie's List so I will be ready to hire more professionals from the List as the need arises. sueB

We needed this done so that we could get our house on market. My husband could have done this but his schedule was too full already with work. Mr. Donald made this soo easy - we meet he gave me a great price and I didn't have to worry about the work getting done. He kept me informed - only took a couple of days and it was done. It was a pleasure doing business with him and look forward to working with him again. I would highly recommend Tender Care Lawn Service.
