+ -1 moreThe repair process went fine. Mangrum inspected, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part needed, returned with new part, installed and recharged with freon. They were prompt and professional.
Description of Work: Mangrums made 2 trips, replaced a part and recharged the AC unit with freon . They were very efficient and we were completely satisfied with their services.

+ -1 moreMangrum indicated that he would not be available until Wednesday morning, 6/27/12. Agreed to that, and took Wednesday off from work to get this issue rectified. After no show, no call by 10AM, called again to make sure he was still coming. No answer, so left yet another message. As of this morning, Thursday, 6/28/12, still no sign of him, no call back about why he failed to even show up yesterday. Nothing worse than a contractor who causes you to miss a day of work, and does not even have the courtesy to call you back with even a lame excuse of why he blew you off! Will not bother to call him again, and suggest that you do not either.
Description of Work: Called Mangrum's on Monday, 6/25/12 to request a service call for A/C that is working but not cooling house down enough. Left two voicemails, and he finally called back later that day.

+ -1 moreI contacted Kevin based on the good reports and he was able to accommodate us the same day. He was professional and courteous and was able to resolve the problem that day. Upon arrival, he checked the unit over and found that a computer panel had burned, then found a faulty electrical switch. We contacted our electrician and Kevin subsequently talked with him about the issue. Our electrician came out, fixed the electrical problem and Kevin then finished up his repair on the heater. Everything took about 2.5 hours. Great service and we will definitely be using him again!
Description of Work: The heater went out and needed immediate repair as my parents are elderly and we were in for a cold snap.

+ 0 moreoverall it was a great finally dealing with a professional as kevin and his team were.
Description of Work: HAD NO AIR FOR 6 WEEKS DE TO TRI A/C OUT OF ALEXANDRIA, LA. TRI A/C KEPT SENDING DIFFERENT REPAIR GUYS EVERY OTHER DAY. THEY ORDERED A PART FOR A/C THAT TOOK A WEEK and a half to come in and it was the wrong part. then the said we had a leak n the freon hose and they needed to drill n the slab concrete of our home to repair. no way that was happening. a customer recommended kevin mangrum, i called him on monday july 26. he came out tuesday july 27 to see what the problem was really and to quote a fair price. we have AMERICAN HOME SHIELD warranty company which after this we wont have for long. kevin's team was back at my home wednesday morning july 28 and by 12 noon, our a/c was up and running. it took him and his crea a couple of hours to repair what tri a/c hadnt did n 6 weeks. i definitely will use him and i have already referred him to other family and friends
