Service Plus Repairs

Duane or Dwayne does not know how to get into a big condo building. After the 2nd try of his not coming at the appointed time, he was literally outside the building and called my wife instead of my mother in law who is the client. He said " IT"S NOT WORTH IT - the building's too big, I can't find a place to park, I'm just leaving." He was ast the parking place. My wife said she would tell him the entrance code, she called her mother who went out on the balcony to tell him she would let him in. He was already driving away. He HUNG UP on my wife, who could have gotten him in in 3 minutes but he said "It's not worth it. I'm leaving." My wife called him back to tell him my mother in law was outside waiting for him and he refused to turn around. My daughter called him 8 minutes later. Again, he refused to return - incredibly rude!!! These people are used by American Home shield. My wife is a realtor and will never recommend American Home Shield again nor use Service Plus for anything.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If I could give it -5 stars, I would. If you have the option to hire this company, DON’T DO IT. If you go through home warranty, REQUEST A DIFFERENT COMPANY. I filed a claim with home warranty over 2 months ago to repair my microwave. A technician from service plus repairs came to figure out the problem. He said a part in the microwave wasn’t working and that he would order the new part and would call me in a week to schedule an appointment to repair the part. A week passes, no call. I try to contact the company via phone call and email, with no response. Finally, i recieve a call back 2 and half weeks after my first appointment saying the part came in and he would come fix it. A week later, he comes to fix the part but apparently that was not what was wrong with my microwave. He said all the wires would need to be replaced or home warranty would need to replace the microwave. Before he left he said he would file the claim with home warranty then get back with me in a week. 2 weeks pass, no call AGAIN. I called home warranty to see what was going on, they said the technician CLOSED MY CLAIM AND SAID MY MICROWAVE WAS REPAIRED WHEN IT WAS NOT. Home warranty reopens the claim, and says they need to talk to the technician about what to do next. After getting the run arround from service plus repairs (technician on vacation, technician out on the job, haven’t been able to get in contact with technician) for another week and half, I called and get told THEY CANNOT FIX MY MICROWAVE. They referred me to home warranty to get in contact with another company that can help me. THEY WASTED 2 MONTHS OF MY LIFE WITH THEIR BULL**** JUST TO TELL ME THEY CANNOT FIX MY MICROWAVE. I would have understood if they would have told me after my second appointment when the replacement part did not work, but instead they gave me the run around for a MONTH. Very unprofessional company, with horrible customer service. I Would not recommend to anyone, and would advise anyone that actually wants to get their appliances fixed to find a different company!

Oh my! See the review from June 2017?? Same exact thing! Some goon came. Said he may or may not order the part. I called the number 4 times to ask for update, and she answered once and never called back. Called insurance company 3 days later....wait for it....they never heard from this so called shop. They are a scam.

this clown was sent by American Home Shield ( they must really be desperate) to fix our Washer. Said parts needed to be ordered and would take a week. Not only did he not order the parts, but to not face his sorry business practices-he transferred the call back to the insurance company. Any positive reviews had to be written by the owner himself. Please google this company and read some of the other review sites-he has done this multiple times!!! Hurry run from this guy!

Great! Came out quickly, made the repair, very friendly. We received a discount for using Angie's List. I will use them again and refer them to friends.

Great! This is the second time we have used Duane, first to repair our refridgerator and this time to repair our washing machine. He is very knowledgable, doesn't try to talk you into more expensive repairs than you need, and charges a very reasonable rate (with a discount for Angie's list users). He responded to our phone call quickly, came the next day and was prompt and polite. We will definitely be using him again!

Removed ice from ductwork and explained what we can expect in the future. Was here an hour and a half, charged us a low rate, and gave us a discount for being on angies list.
