Description of Work: Over the years, tree removal and tree trimming.

Description of Work: Removed Oak tree with trunk rot/damage, ground stump, and removed debris. Trimmed three other trees.

Description of Work: Took out an oak tree struck by lightning. The tree was removed and complete clean up within 5 hours ! Very professional service! Highly reccomend!!!!

Description of Work: Nothing. Never returned two phone calls on two occasions 2 weeks apart. He's in business to help me. I'm not going to chase him down with a third call.

Description of Work: I got a second estimate from Matt and he was WAY below the other ripoff tree service TreeTech. Matt is taking down my tree next week. Thank you Matt for being a standup guy.

Description of Work: We joined Angie's list because we were looking for a responsible tree cutting service, among other things. We had a dead Oak tree that was right next to our Pergola, and our neighbor's property line. In the past, my husband would cut trees down, but this was in an precarious place, so we needed a professional. We called Matt's Tree Service, based on the great reviews in Angie's List for the company. He came out the next day to give us an estimate. We had the tree cut down within the next few days.

Description of Work: Trimming of two Bradford Pear trees and a Maple tree.

Description of Work: Cut and removed 90' pine tree. The stump was ground and removed, too. The tree had been struck by lightning 3 months earlier.

Description of Work: Cut down two small trees. Pruned two historic trees. And cut down wild scrub trees along my fence. He cleaned and hauled away all debris. I was impressed.

Description of Work: I had several trees that had died from disease due to stress from Hurricane Katrina and I had one other that has leaning at a dangerous angle from the storm. Matt's team was, as always superb at removing the trees with out doing any damage to other trees. When Matt's team leaves it is difficult to see that any trees were previously there. Matt's worker's have been working for him for more that ten years which says a lot about Matt and his business. Matt skills in the top of a 100 ft tall tree is a delight to watch - much like a precision dancer at work.

Description of Work: This was to take down two dead trees and clean and haul the wood and debris. One tree was in a very difficult location (driveway, power line, ditch, other healthy trees), the type of tree other services didn't want to take down. The trimming and shaping of a large live oak was included in the job.
