Griffith Properties A/C & Heating

Tom was FANTASTIC, came over on a Saturday to look at the unit, was reparied by the following Tuesday.

It went well, he almost passed out in our attic it was so hot. But completed successfully!!

It went extremely well. I have been having an internal leak in my A/C system for years and knew that I would eventually have to replace it. A friend from church recommended Tom and Griffith Properties. I called Tom and he came out the next day to assess my system and gave me an estimate that was extremely fair and much less than other estimates I had gotten. He came out and did the work as planned and I couldn't be happier with his work and his service. I would recommend him for anyone.

I could not have hired a more professional HVAC contractor than Tom Griffith. After having 5 contractor quotes, not only did he offer the best unit from his quote, he gave me time to answer all my questions. Tom get's an A+ from me in all the categories listed here in Angie's list review. Not only is Tom an honest guy, (as it is hard to find honest people these days) he crosses all the I's and checks all his T's to make sure everything is working properly. I VERY strongly encourage everyone reading this review to give Tom a call for all your HVAC needs. I know I will in the future.

Tom came in and immediately diagnosed it as a thermostat problem. He went into the attic to confirm it. We have an extended warranty that turned out to not be valid. Installer did not register it. He explains the warranty problem in detail. Tom replaced the thermostat and all is working well. Jo

I called Tom Saturday night and asked if he could come out no later than Monday morning. He arrived first thing SUNDAY morning, exactly when promised-thank goodness. He diagnosed the problem as a contactor unit, had the needed replacement part on hand and replaced it. Professional and pleasant owner-operator of this company. Great at his craft and conscientious, quality work. I really like that he was able to replace the bad part on the spot. Extremely affordable parts and labor. Thanks Tom for coming out so quickly on the weekend. It may be October, but it's also south Louisiana.

Just as expected! New capacitor and topped off freon level. Unit has been working as prescribed ever since.

I can not say enough positive about Griffith properties. I have experienced numerous other companies thru the years and by far he has been the most honest, fair priced, professional company I have ever experienced. He focused more on trying to repair our units then to upsell us on a new unit before it was necessary. His work ethic is great and bent over backwards to help us and get our unit up in running. When we do need a new unit Griffith properties will definitely be the company I will call.

High quality work, timely, and charges were EXTREMELY reasonable. Even though Tom started around 5 pm, he did not charge me for an after hours response. I called Friday and he came out Friday evening when I could get off from work. He was here exactly at the time we agreed upon with his trailer ready to go. No multiple trips for stuff. When Tom left, the unit was completely good to go, and cleaned inside and in the pan so that no water lingering in the pan to mildew and rust. Tom also gave the unit a review and noted a drain plug not placed as it should have at initial install. He found a part for the job and took care of it for free. He worked hard the whole time, got the work done and was back out of the house so we could go back to our evening in less than 2 hours. And I'm still surprised he did not charge for an off-hours response.

Tom did an excellent job. He is an extremely fair and honest businessman. He clearly explained the problem and the necessary repairs. He never once tried to up sell me. He honestly repaired what was necessary to get our A/C back in proper functioning order.

I own a few rental properties. Tommy Griffith has done some fantastic work on 4 of these properties. Besides being completely satisfied with the work I am also extremely satisfied with the price. I have recommended already to many people. 5 stars guy !!!
