They did a good job. I used them because I had an Angie's list coupons but I had to wait along time after I originally called them and I actually had to call Angie's list to tell them they had not gotten back to me, but they did need supplies for the dry wall and they did all the labor. They finished the job within the three hours. When you get a coupon you have to wait because there are many people with coupons.
Description of Work: They did dry wall repairs.

It took them quite sometime to contact me about when they could do the job. I assume that was because to many people bought the big deal. | |They didn't bring a ladder - seemed odd to me. They brought an air compressor to use their nail gun, but it didn't work so they used mine. | |They brought two people so the price doubled from the original deal price - they blamed Angie's List for not making that clear. Although they brought the extra guy only one of them was really doing most of the work while the other mostly watched. | |I give them a B for the quality of the project, but a C- for communication and throwing Angie under the bus.

The service went very well. They worked as scheduled because we had a definite time that we needed this work done. They even came back on a Sunday and a Monday to complete it cause we had extra work we wanted done and they came back and worked their jobs around. They were excellent and I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: We used Fireball Renovations. What we were having done was the shelving in two pantries, two faucets taken out, sheetrock was repaired and repainted and more supports installed in our cabinet shelves.

Mr. Moralez (Fireball Renovations, LLC) was prompt, polite, exact, employed hard working people and did exactly as stated in the contract plus more work that was requested of him after the contract was signed. I found the price reasonable and quality of work excellent.
Description of Work: Removed old concrete from walkway to the front of the house. Poured cement and built a new walkway. Installed drainage (under the walkway-PVC pipe)) from a garden next to the walkway to the driveway.

I didn't end up using them. They were nice but I though they were a little expensive and that kind of money for the service that I was requesting was just kind of questionable as to whether I wanted to spend it with them not knowing enough information. They were the only ones I contacted who showed up. They seemed capable but I just thought it was a little pricey. They were very professional, they showed up on time and they greeted me professionally so it was a good experience. They showed up, that was the biggest part, and they provided a quote for me.
Description of Work: I received a quote from Fireball Renovations. At the time I'd had some storm damage to my house from Hurricane Isaac, so I needed a fence and some light painting.

I met a mover at my current employers office, who offered to quote me a price to change my flooring. I was skeptical about all contractors, since the contractor I used post Katrina was so horrible. I was terrified to trust anyone. Prior to his estimate, I had collected 18 estimates, for 4 of the 5 major projects, as I was collecting estimates, to elevate my home. He happened to have the lowest estimate. However, that is not the reason I gave him the job. I had asked all of the companies before him, to tell me how to tie into my existing roofline, when they attach my deck. Out of the 19 companies I spoke with, he was the only one, to give me a precise description, of his approach. I was sold by his ideas, and gave him the job. I made the decision, to give the entire job, to this contractor. I wanted all new wood floors, throughout my house, in which the floors must be raised, to match the original house. I wanted 420 sq. ft. of decking, with two sets of stairs. I wanted a 10'x28' building attached to the backside, of the deck, subdivided. I wanted both deck and outer building, under the existing roof. I wanted a patio cover, at the back end, of the new driveway. I also wanted 1300 sq. ft. of concrete, which would include sidewalks, walkways, and approximately 135' of driveway. I handed him the house key, said I will be back from Italy in 10 days, do what you can. When I walked into my house 10 days later, it did not look like the same house. The wood floors were all finished. I couldn't believe it. I was so impressed that they moved, all of my furniture and appliances, plus built up the floors, in the back half of the house, and installed all of the flooring, in just 10 days. The furniture was polished, the bathrooms were cleaned and the house had never looked better. It was amazing! The real shock came, as I walked to the back door, and the guys were actually standing, on my new deck. That was the most awesome welcome home, anyone could possibly ask for. The surprised continued, the playroom/shed building was there, including the roof. The patio cover was designed and built, better than expected. It was awesome. All of this was built in just 10 days. I have since amended the original contract 18 times with some of the following projects. I added vinyl siding, soffit and fascia, to be installed on the house, as well as the patio. The kitchen door was bad, along with the sill, so I added replacing these items. I added finishing the interior, of both the shed and playroom. When we added onto the house the first time, we did not get our attic opened between the two sections. So, I added opening the roof between the first two sections of my attic. I added decking the old, as well as the new attic space. I added a work bench to be built in the new shed. I added many truckloads of sand to be brought in, to fill in the yard before adding all of the new concrete. I added a new column, to replace the old column, on our front porch. I added the removal of the wrought iron rail, on the front porch, and the replacement with a new campsite rail, on the front porch. I added the replacement of the ceramic tile, in both of the bathrooms. I added the removal of our old water heater and it's building, and the replacement with a new tankless water heater. I added a new custom built wrought iron base, vinyl covered gate, to be built and installed. I added a bad water line to be replaced, on the incoming line of the house. I added insulation, to be blown into the original house walls, as well as the new addition walls. I added two large magnetic curio cabinets, to be custom designed, to fit behind both upper penisula cabinets, in my dining room. I added saloon doors, to be custom built, to my design and installed, between my kitchen and dining room. I still feel like I am forgetting to mention some of the others tasks. But no matter what I threw out there, I was accommodated. We are 8 weeks into the job, and just about completed. All of my decking, handrails and stairs were designed and built using special ordered composite materials. We are waiting for the remainder of these materials to arrive, otherwise it would be completely finished. I am one satisfied homeowner. If anyone would like to come by and see my job, I will be more than happy to show it.
Description of Work: The wood floors throughout my house, a 420 sq. ft. deck, a building to be divided to accommodate a play room for my granddaughter, and shed for my husband, a 16'x20' patio, 1300 sq. ft. of concrete, for a driveway, sidewalk and walkway, and approximately 18 other projects added on to the original contract. My house was at two different levels, and the back half needed to be built up, in order to have level flooring installed. Also, we had a house full of our belongings, to be shuffled around, in order to install the wood floors. The deck was to be built down one side of the house, as well as across the back of the house. I also wanted my existing roof, to be extended across the top, of the entire deck. The building divided between my husband and granddaughter was originally supposed to be unfinished. One of the additional projects was to finish the interior of the building. The patio was originally supposed to be a simple carport type patio. The patio was designed to accommodate my boat, or camper, much more structurally sound than originally expected. Rotten sills were discovered and replaced, as an addendum to the original contract. The gas water heater was changed to the new tankless water heater, as an addendum to the original contract. Landfill was necessary prior to pouring any of the concrete.
