Same Day Service. Seven Days a Week. From the first time you call for service to the end of your appointment, our employees will make your experience with Benfatti a pleasant one. When you call with the problem of not having air conditioning or heat, a Technician will be dispatched that same day. With Benfatti there is no need to be without air conditioning or heat for days! Our Technicians' vehicles are equipped with computerized dispatching and invoicing. When the repair is complete you will be given a computer generated invoice and, for your convenience, we do accept credit cards as well as cash or check for payment. Payment is due at time of service. If you are in need of a new system, we offer free estimates as well as financing options.

He was very efficient and worked quickly. He did explain how if I was interested in changing my duct work how much it would cost, but he did not try to pressure me. He was the one who indicated I should wait until I needed a whole new unit and not waste the money now. I appreciated that.
Description of Work: I had insulation blown in my attic and the technician stepped on the a/c ducts tearing them. Benfatti came in and repaired the ductwork.

Great Scott is the best Technition that has ever lived. Very knowledgeable and very well spoken. Benfatti is lucky to have such a great person working for them. If he didn't have parents i would adopt him. He should definitely get a raise as soon as possible.

I would not ever call Benfatti. They seem to just be interested in selling new units.
Description of Work: Had a mildew problem in the system. They came and recommended a whole new system because with cost of cleaning the system he said I'd might as well get a new system. He said another guy needed to come out to check out whether there was mold and also he would measure to give us a price on new system. Charged me $99 which would go toward whatever we decided to do. I asked for a price on fixing the mildew problem and was put off several times. The next guy came while only my husband was home and only measured for a new system and gave my husband a price on new system cheapest of which was $12,000. My husband and I were busy with life and were gonna think about it. Meanwhile a leak happens coming through my ceiling. Called them out again to fix the leak cause I can't run my air. First guy comes out again, looks at the leak and basically says by the time we fix the leak and the mildew problem you might as well get a new unit. The unit is about 10 years old so we actually consider it. But again I ask for a price on fixing leak and sealing up the unit to get rid of mildew problem. No real answer but he sends the second guy out again making sure that we will both be home. He comes and gives us a high pressure sales pitch asking us to decide tonight because he'd really like to get started this week. Well I'm sorry if we are gonna mess up your schedule. Called Calcote AC. Came right away. Looked over everything and for a little over $1000 they fixed the leak, sealed up all ductwork etc to stop moisture problem, replaced the drip pan, installed a new safety switch, put a small return air in bedroom that didn't cool well, replaced my thermostat, replaced the support under outside unit because armadillos making it sink, fixed a Freon leak in second unit. They are coming back to put an attic fan. Asked for my vacuum so they could clean up their mess. The owner is Johnny. He came with his son and nephew. His wife is the one who calls you to let you know they are on their way.

Description of Work: They inspect my HVAC unit every 6 months and installed the new unit originally. They're very good, very professional and always call when it's time for the inspection. I appreciate that they put on the boot covers before they come into my home.

They're overpriced. Additionally, they didn't correctly drag down the drain hose and the water drained down into my house. I had over $30,000 worth of water damage because of what he did. About 1,000 sq. ft. worth of hardwood flooring had to be replaced, as well as all the walls; this was in a house that was built in 1890 and he destroyed a lot of the vintage character.

When my system went out, I had no air conditioning in the house and it was like 90° outside. The representative brought over two window units to put in the rooms so that we could be comfortable because it was going to be a couple of days before they could get to us. They are professional. They wear uniforms and little feet sockies on their shoes before they come in the house. Once they give you your 1-year free maintenance, you have the option of purchasing annual maintenance, where they come out and check it in the summer and then in the winter.
Description of Work: When I bought the system, they gave me one year free maintenance, a spring maintenance and a fall maintenance. They come out and check the unit before you start using it for the heating to make sure everything is good before you turn the heat on.

My 30 yr old air conditioning system stopped working. Called Benfatti and Travis came and did a home assessment for size of system for my home last week. He also assessed connecting an air vent in the laundry room that had no duct work attached. Recommended the Heat Pump for energy efficiency. I had no air conditioning in my home and the temp was 85 degrees and going up. Travis brought two window units to keep the house comfortably cool until they could schedule installation. He assessed on Thursday afternoon and the following Tuesday they were installing the new ac system. They arrived early and stayed until the job was completed which was after 6 pm. The technicians were professional and very knowledgeable in installing the system. They worked together as a team. Several people from the company including Travis stopped by through out the day to assess progress and assist technicians. I was very impressed with the team work. Impressed with the ac system. Steven installed the wifi thermostat and set up my account. He showed my how to use the wifi and now I can check/change the temperature at home with my phone/computer while I'm at home or away. Wednesday, Travis came to do a walk through check list with me before making final payment. I was extremely impressed with everyone from Benfatti Air Conditioning and Heating. I would STRONGLY recommend Benfatti and will continue to use their services to maintain my new Heat Pump system.
Description of Work: Removed 30 yr old, no longer working, air-conditioning unit and old pad. Replaced with Trane Heat Pump, Air Handler, Honeywell Thermostat, and connected an air vent in laundry room to air duct system.

These guys are great. I called and Travis came for an estimate the same day. He gave me a written estimate on the spot because he actually had a laptop and printer in his brief case. The crew of 5 came at 8:00 a.m. and were totally finished by 4:00 p.m. The crew really knows what they are doing. They replaced the original unit with a new Trane unit. Cost was much less that competitors with lesser brands. They took out everything and took it with them. My attic was left cleaner than when they arrived. These guys are true pros, who know what they are doing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
